Seems to be incompatible with Chinese translation. When used with Chinese translation mods, the interface fonts will disappear completely, leaving only numbers

Is this compatible with AGOT and Ultimate Tooltip?

@Doomjazzer: Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated :sonrisa:

Thanks for the help, appreciate it. These mods look essential, the vanilla text is pretty bad. Thanks again.

@Doomjazzer: Yes, this mod is designed to work together with the other two mods "Interface: Stellaris Colors" and "Interface: Century Gothic". See section "Additional Mods" above.

You are right, though: "Interface: Century Gothic" and "Tooltip: Century Gothic Bold 18" both change the tooltip poppup. But this mod has a bigger font size.

Dumb question but can you use this mod along with Interface: Century Gothic, or do they clash?

I got the impression that the other mod alters tooltip fonts as well as interface, which is why I'm wondering if this tooltip mod clashes with it.

Your mod saved my eyes!
Bernie_Wiseman 21 Feb, 2019 @ 12:28pm
yea, as i thought, thank you anyways. Your mod improves the game ;)
Olympian  [author] 21 Feb, 2019 @ 11:42am
@Bernie_Wiseman: I see. Unfortunately I can't help you with that. Larger fonts mean that also the GUI dimensions would have to be adapted which I have no knowledge of, sorry.
Bernie_Wiseman 21 Feb, 2019 @ 11:30am
the option enlarges everything and makes everything become grainier. I just wanted the bigger writings
Olympian  [author] 21 Feb, 2019 @ 10:04am
@Bernie_Wiseman: Perhaps this can be achieved by "Settings -> Video -> UI scale" ?
Bernie_Wiseman 21 Feb, 2019 @ 7:06am
is it possible to make bigger All the words and numbers of the game?
Olympian  [author] 19 Nov, 2018 @ 11:01pm
@Caio Soares: Yes :)

Work with holy fury?

@Revoker: I have updated the main mod ("Interface: Century Gothic"). The crash should be fixed.
Pithy Thistle 16 Nov, 2017 @ 12:45pm
This works with 2.8, If you try to set rally points the game will crash.
Olympian  [author] 12 Nov, 2016 @ 2:14am
@Kaiji: The nice guy at "Bigger Interface" has just released an update and now both mods are compatible :steamhappy:
Kaiji 5 Nov, 2016 @ 12:01pm
That is good news!! I was really bummed having to go back to the old UI.

Thanks so much, Olympian. XD
Olympian  [author] 5 Nov, 2016 @ 11:59am
@Kaiji: Good news, the author of "Bigger Interface" told me he is going to remove the conflicting file next time he's updating his mod. This should make both mod compatible.
Olympian  [author] 1 Nov, 2016 @ 9:23am
@Kaiji: Thanks for the analysis. Most likely the other mods also override the file "interface/tooltip.gui" which contains the font settings for tooltips. As far as i know there's not much we could do about that as it's not possible to manually change mod loading order (if I remember correctly mods are loaded in alphabetical order). I will have a look at the mods you mentioned.
Kaiji 1 Nov, 2016 @ 9:08am
Narrowed it down. The mod is disabled if the "Arumba's Keyboard Shortcuts" or "Bigger Interface" mods are running. Any idea why this might be?

They also disable the tooltip font in my "Most Readable Fonts" mod...
Kaiji 1 Nov, 2016 @ 8:18am
Thanks for the reply, Olympian.

I ran the game with just the font mods running and it the tooltip works fine now so I guess it's conflicting with another mod. Shouldn't be too hard to find out which it is.
Olympian  [author] 1 Nov, 2016 @ 12:16am
@Kaiji: It's still working for me. Have you made sure the mod is activated in the launcher? Does it work if you disable the other "Century Gothic" mods?
Kaiji 31 Oct, 2016 @ 11:21pm
Just came back to the game after a few months break and this mod is no longer working for me. I just get the small tooltip font size from the "Century Gothic" mod.

Is it broken for anyone else?

Minor update released ( changelog )
Olympian  [author] 26 Aug, 2016 @ 8:42am
@Daedalus: I used BMFont [www.angelcode.com]. Be advised that there are many tweaking steps involved (the output of BMFont cannot be used in CK2 right away).
I implemented some helper scripts to make my life easier (you can get them here: olympian-mods/crusader_kings_2-bmfont_generator [github.com]. As these were made for my personal use they are pretty poorly documented bit perhaps they will be helpful nevertheless.

If all you're interested in is a more readable Serif font you should check out the other font mods in the Workshop. I think some of them do exactly what you're after.
Freischuetz 26 Aug, 2016 @ 7:38am
Hi,
May I ask you which converter did you use? I would like to have a more readable font, yet want a serif font to still get the old CKII atmosphere. so I would like to have the font changed to Droid_Serif or something like that.
Enriador 12 Aug, 2016 @ 11:46am
I LOVE this font. Really nice to read. Can you do one for the map as well? "Holy Roman Empire" in Century Gothic Bold will look gorgeous!

Very smart : )
