John of Bohemia, would have been a better choice for the leadership, up to this day he is celebrated and probably the most iconic medieval Luxembourger.

Is this the capital Luxembourg?

Go ahead! That's the way to learn. And do copy anything you need, I don't mind.

Do you mind if I take a look at your code (I'm not gonna copy it 100%, I'm trying to make a trait that reduces Building Upkeep, but it's not possible via XML and have no idea how to do it)

It's all lua.

How did you code that unique ability? Is it in XML only or in lua aswell?

Ah the joy of mod conflicts. There's two things you can do to help me figure it out:
1. Disable other mods and try to pin point the one creating the conflict.
2. Post the tail of your database.log file and any errors in lua.log. Logging needs to be enabled in your config.ini for this.

As for San Marino: no, sorry. I'll be focussing on Civ VI soon!

um i like the mod idea and i think for the most part it is good but there are some issues. when i started a game as luxemboug i couldnt talk to city states and when i explored ruins weird text came up.

Hasn't another Modder got a Dutch Split Planned?

Unless you're focusing entirely on Belgium I suggest to you England Ruled by either William III, James II, or Charles I from the English Civil War.
