Actually after testing... the varientmeshdefinitions are hierarchical as well. So one .pack entry will override another depending on the load order.

So in this case all the "extra" other varientmeshdefinitions will override the Dryrain ones if we load your mod first. I might try and make a "patch" for personal use though.

Im actuallynot absolutely sure how the game utilizes identical variantmeshfiles located in different mods. but I believe it uses the one specified within a pack file when it is referenced in that same pack file, but not when referenced by another one. so every pack file that contains a "variantmesh X" and reference it will use their respective one...

Yeah it won't crash but since your mod has so many varientmeshdefinition beyond KSL... won't it make a lot of his Empire skins look "off" as well? not just over write Kislev? Just want to make sure I understand the .pack structure correctly.

well, just dont use his Kislev mod and it should work fine. and even if theres conlficts, there will just be the odd helmet thats different or whatever. just give it a try, it wont break anything.

If I am using Dryrain's re-skin mods, and from look at the .pack file there is no way to use this with his mod right? As in to have this one for Kislev and his for the rest? I think from what I can tell they are both using too many of the same Varientmeshes for it to work? Thanks.

Hey mate, fantastic work by you and Prime Minister Sinister both. Do you use Crynsos' Faction Unlocker? If so, any chance of a Russian-esque reskin for his new Erengrad faction (where he splits Kislev and Erengrad into two warring factions)? Works really well. Much better than vanilla who made Kislev just another empire faction. At least this way your untis actually look like a whole new faction. Any chance of adding unique units soon like horse archers? Maybe replacing knights with the winged lancers?

For some reason, this mod isn't compatible with Steel Faith Overhaul Mod for me. Everytime I start it up (even with just these two activated) it crashes on startup. It was fine until I upgraded my PC as well. I'm using a ton of mods, several changing skins and even gameplay ones which you'd think wouldn't be compatible with Steel Faith, and I've tested every combination. All mods works with Steel Faith deactivated and all mods works with Steel Faith activated and this one deactivated. Yet as soon as I have both active, it crashes.
