If i am correct, the projectile the resistance crossbow shoots is a 12 centimeter-long red-hot rebar ignited by a 12v Rayovac lantern battery, and the bow itself is just the front section of the Resistance Crossbow + strings, and lacks a battery of any kind to superheat the rebar, so, if this was to actually be used he'd be firing a regular rebar, and if the rebar WAS superheated, let's just say that Rebel's hand would catch on fire, and burn to death whilst Overwatch Soldiers are laughing at his misfortune, and the weapon would be destroyed because the strings were burnt by the rebar, and the resistance would be scrapping the weapon concept on the fucking spot after field testing proving disaster

If this was a SWEP that would be awesome. It would be so fun to go Headcrab or Bullsquid hunting with a bow.

There is no easy way to make this a SWEP because if it were to be one, there would be no good default third person animation set, and the same would apply for a crossbow replacment.

this is pretty cool, someone should make a crossbow replacement out of this.
