@Phil Have you tried our other XCOM 2 Marketplace mod? It's basically the same thing, but without the Goblins. It should be more updated.

@Lizard WotC uses a completely revamped data structure system, and it's suprisingly hard to redo mods for it. It's certainly something we'll look at in time, but we unfortunately can't make any promises.

ALL: We stopped supporting XCOM 2 mods when 2K gave us a Cease & Desist (much like they recently did with GTA 5). We have now moved to ARK: Survival Evolved, and you can check us out at www.tribeofgods.com

It unfortunately does not work properly with a controller. Xcom Intel Market also does not work.

The menu itself works in that you can choose the intel perks and goto the mission but in exiting the menu , what you spend in intel is refunded and nothing goes into effect.

Also, changing the config ini to disable tutorial does nothing and shows a compressed blurry image.

@JiMMy Then use this with the "Black Market Earns Intel" mod to get more intel.

@Team Dragonpunk,

everything seems to be working so far expect the extra soldier purchase wont take effect in infiltration missions therefore its a useless purchase.

my price modifier is 0.1 but still feels its too much due to how scarce the intel resource is. so parting from 3-5 intel is still a hard choice.

JiMMy We haven't tested it, so I honestly don't know. LW2 does a lot of custom work to their Marketplace, so it's 50/50. If you do try it, and it works, please let us know!

This picture makes perfect sense for Dragonpunk. This is a total conversion mod, and therefore not set in the XCOM universe. We will be launching an XCOM specific version of this mod shortly, but we're a bit delayed since Co-Op just launched. All code is open source, so feel free to make one of your own!

We (ok EladDV) made a full tutorial on how to change the picture here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4456385-tutorial-xcom-2-editor-custom-packages/

If there is enough demand, we'll make an XCOM 2 specific version of this mod. We didn't because we assumed another modder would have already. That's the great thing about open source software and code sharing.

Yes @Legion Prime. go to this folder: SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\745853133\Localization
and change the "m_strImage[0]" field on both files there to change the image (You'd need to change it to an image from XCom) and the "m_strMarketQuotesLvl_1[0]","m_strShortTextLvl_1[0]","m_strLongTextLvl_1[0]" fields on both files to show whatever you want for the text.

Just wanted to add that this is a really excellent mod, and as @JiMMy points out it can clearly be exploited. However I love the added dimension of having to decide whether to spend my scarce early game intel to (hopefully) prevent my team of Rookies from getting blown to smithereens, or expand my resistance network. I'm really looking forward to you other mods. Thanks for your hard work!

@JiMMy Totally agree! In the options menu, we have sliders that allow players to adjust the cost of intel, so they COULD go full cheat mode. Ideally though, you would have just enough intel to buy one perk per mission, which would make you think more strategically as you decide what is the best perk for each mission type (that's how we play anyway).

good mod, gives you choices like the base game does! should i spend my scarce intel on a tactical edge for this hard mission or should i save it and go through it with my rookies!

but i am gonna give you all an advice: if you use the mods/cheats which allow you to sell junk for intel on the black market than this mod becomes overpowered and its full on cheating. please don't be that cheeky scrublord that cheats on xcom! this game meant to be hard.

@Daniel Good question. Right now, we have most of the bugs worked out. If anyone DOES find one, please post it in the "Bug Reports" discussion. Funding permitting, we'll be supporting this mod for the next 2 year. Not only do we want to add the final art for the RPG elements, we'd be happy to add XCOM specific art for those who want more of a traditional XCOM experience. There is so much we'd like to do with this mod, especially after Co-Op is out!

All, this mod does NOT require the Mod Config Menu (MCM), so disable MCM if you experience the under the ship error. MCM is just nice for the options menu. We may release a version for Long War Toolbox if we cannot get the MCM error resolved.

@Relenzo I think it depends entirely on how long you are playing for. If you are trying to win as fast as possible you will only have enough intel to be used mostly towards contacts. (try getting the exquisite timing achievement and winning in less than 90 game days)

If you are playing a longer game you can end up with tons of intel. I've had 3000+ intel stored up with nothing left to spend it on if I'm playing out a multi-year campaign.

As for whether any intel gets spent on the hidden events, depends entirely on which ones are shown already shown and how much intel I have laying around. If the shown ones aren't that bad I'll just counter the hidden one without bothering to reveal it. If the shown ones might be rough and I have the intel then I'll reveal the hidden so I can make a more informed choice.

Looks like a nifty mod! One option I would really love is a purchase that reveals the map when you start a mission, a la the 'Flyover' mod.

Anyway, extra intel options might not see a ton of use on higher difficulty levels without mods that increase the amount of intel you can get--I find myself saving basically all of it to establish contact with new teritories. I never really look at the third Dark Event. But is this how other people play Commander? I'm curious.

Orinox, No there are not mods like this without the Dragonpunk aesthetic and if you'd like to change the pictures you see you can go inside the localization files and change the pictures and descriptions from there. The mod dosnt offer concealment on every mission but the ability to buy concealment on missions where you start without it,so you will still have concealment by default on gurilla ops and the like.

Are there any mods similiar to this one without the dragonpunk aesthetic? untill the full release of dragon punk, I'd like my game to stay xcomy. I just really like the concept of having to buy squad concealment from the start instead of just starting every mission with it and being able to buy other bonuses if you have enough intel.
