can you change the guard armor?

This mod is probably the very best player home/castle I've seen anywhere. I have a couple of player home mods and another player castle which I thought were the best, but I found myself trying to improve so much about them that was missing, in my view, for the Dragonborn. I found this mod, and walked all through it thinking, "Yep, this is exactly what I was trying to do myself." It has everything I believe the Dragonborn should have by the time you're well advanced in quests and the main quest-line. Perfectly created and stocked exactly as it should be. An excellent piece of work.

ITS A GREAT CASTLE BUT DON'T DO WHAT I DID BECAUSE I HAVE GREYSTONE AND SHATTERHORN CASTLE COMBINED LIKE SOME MESSED UP MASON DESIGN!

This castle is more than impressive! It`s pure perfection! I only wish, you could adopt children and let them live in your castle...

Crim5on Duck - I have placed the mod files at zauriel.net , along with a README and a few screenshots. This is the first time I have packaged a mod for release so I hope I have done it correctly. Crim5on Duck are you still out there? Would you possibly grant permission for someone else to use your Greystone Castle mod content since you are no longer maintaining it? I have greatly expanded this mod for my own personal use and I'd like to share my work with others but I need your permission to do so. I would be happy to send you what I've done for your review. Thank you for the comments everyone :D I do still read them! The updates to all of my mods has stopped, and has for some time if some haven't noticed. They are all going to stay on the workshop 'as is', so no more updates will come. It has been a long time since I have used the creation kit, and frankly, I would have to learn alot of it all over again as my current hobbies are far removed from modding or anything to do on computers (I now rock climb, hike and make my money from adventuring in the outdoors). I am glad people are still enjoying the mods, just take note if you do have an issue, there will not be any support for it anymore.

every time i leave the castle and head north down the pathway, the game crashes or it freezes. the last time it did that i had to restore my windows 8.1 computer to an earlier date. fast travel to and from castle was not a problem and i was able to travel south on the path with no problem. but when i head north on the pathway the game either freezes or crashes or both or this last time my pc would not reboot at all. system restore saved my ass this time. so i uninstalled the mod.

Worth a download 100% of the time for the sword in the master bedroom alone.

Hi. Just wanted to let you know two things; first of all this is an absolute awesome mod, one of my favourites, so good job! Secondly, sadly most of the NPC's added with Greystone have dissappeared, like the elf merchant and the priestess. Is there a way to fix this in any way? :) Cheers

But I have 1 problem, flying grass! Mostly within the castle, some around the castle. It is looking like the vegetation of the original terrain. What can I do to erase this 'little error'?

I love it!!! I have played Skyrim for a long time and I have tested a lot of castles and Greystone is one of the absolute best if you are looking for a lore-friendly and not too big castle. You get a realistic castle and I really like the way you have used the towers as barracks, armory, guest tower and kitchen. Okay, I have trouble with the mannequins not showing the armor I put on them. Every time I have been away on adventures and return the mannequins are "naked" and I need to take and put on the armor again. Otherwise, great job... THUMBS UP!!!

Why is there a huge wall infront on the front gate?

The floating grass inside the castle has to be remove in order for the outside view of the entrance become visible.

PLEASE UPDATE THE BARD!!! You managed to use the worst possible voice for the bard. It got so bad i dont like to be in the main hall anymore. Then i just killed her. The silence is better then her singing. At LEAST update to allow you to select play instumental music so she doesnt sing.

this would be perfect for me, if only there were a few more actual storage containers. Like a few chests in the armoury and by the smithy, and a couple of jewlerry boxes around the crafting stations maybe a couple of barrells for arrows somewhere. The shelves are amazing and a hell of a lot of really immersive and aesthetically pleasing furnishings decorate the entire castle. But when i'm looking for places to put my stuff I only have a few very limited options. that is literally my only gripe with this mod, otherwise ten out of ten.

I've added this to a collection, I thought you mioght like to know (as it's a compliment) as i know you don't get notifications on this. Thanks for the great mod ;)

Tree, I always have excellent results with GC, no glitches! I experimented with a dozen or so similar mods and I’m convinced that GC sets the benchmark for others to emulate. Among other things I give GC 10 out of 10 for been a very practical useful eye candy.

I have the same problem with grass floating in the courtyard. Tried console coomand "tg" and then quick travel another place and back again to castle, but it didn't fix.
