Crafting Hysteresis has been one of the best mod in the rimworld mod history!

A spiritual successor: Storage Refill Hysteresis

Thank you for this mod. It has been a life saver.

I've jumped back into Rimworld after taking a break for about 2 years
Congrats on getting your mod into the basegame, dude! I bet that feels awesome, I noticed it happen a lot with Kenshi modders recently
tiberiansun371alexw 25 Oct, 2018 @ 9:05pm
ok thanks. Also congrats on geting much of your ideas into the game
ZorbaTHut  [author] 25 Oct, 2018 @ 8:31pm
@tiberiansun, I forget what the actual checkboxes are labeled, but somewhere in the bill settings are the options to do exactly what you want.
tiberiansun371alexw 24 Oct, 2018 @ 6:24pm
What do you mean it was implemented into the base game? I'd like to see it (cook meals until 10, stop action until drop to 7, then cook meals until 10, wait for meals to go down, or cook up to 10 if finish a task and the bill is right there and cooking is higher priority than anything less). Currently I suspend the bills manually.

Thank you

On the plus side, it's still a good idea! :D
Rokko 19 Apr, 2018 @ 10:39pm
that'll teach me to watch old youtube videos
ZorbaTHut  [author] 19 Apr, 2018 @ 8:50pm
@Rokko, this addon is long-since built into the game itself.
Rokko 18 Apr, 2018 @ 2:23am
gonna be an update?
game says its outdated and once i activated this and started a new game,i couldnt see any bills at all
madh 5 Nov, 2017 @ 2:15am
I don't think you know what hysteresis means. ;) Glad this got adopted in the base game though!
Linked 21 Oct, 2017 @ 12:10pm
Good job for giving them the idea
Maelstromeous 30 Jun, 2017 @ 4:49am
@ZorbaTHat that's awesome! Hope you enjoy your new career :)
[AOD]Suicide-Squirel 25 Jun, 2017 @ 2:24pm
If they keep putting your mods in the base game they should add you to the end credits lol
"The" SeanMacLeod 3 Jun, 2017 @ 10:35pm
That's what I would call "success":steamhappy:
dyl4n 28 May, 2017 @ 12:37pm
damn dude im going through all my mods to see which need to be updated and all of yours are either already in the game or updated
ZorbaTHut  [author] 27 May, 2017 @ 7:50am
@Romaoplays, almost all! Not quite all. But almost all :)
Romaoplays 27 May, 2017 @ 5:32am
Is it just me or they implemented all your mods? :p
Elforia 26 May, 2017 @ 7:41pm
GJ Zorba your life saver of a mod got in the main game!! and you go highered as well.
Omnom 26 May, 2017 @ 4:50pm
Thanks again Zorba! I appreciate the hard work you put into this mod.
ZorbaTHut  [author] 26 May, 2017 @ 2:29pm
@Launi7x3, that's actually what I mean by "obsolete" - the mod's behavior now exists in the game itself, you don't need the mod anymore :)
Lauri7x3 26 May, 2017 @ 9:37am
@zorbathut i needed a while to understand ur phrases until i read that u work for ludeon now lol.
so i guess u will implemend the mod into the real game then? (because i dont think its obsolete)
ZorbaTHut  [author] 26 May, 2017 @ 9:15am
@Lauri7x3, this mod is now obsolete as of A17; Ludeon's hired German translators will be doing the in-game translation :) (Have done, I guess.) Thanks for the work, though!
Lauri7x3 26 May, 2017 @ 4:48am
@zorbathut here dude the german translation

ZorbaTHut  [author] 25 May, 2017 @ 8:45pm
@Maelstromeous, I'm actually now a full-time employee at Ludeon!

@Sona, don't worry, all that hypothetical rest time is already filled with more things ;)
Hardly 25 May, 2017 @ 5:46pm
Massive congrats that this functionality got pulled into the main game. This was the mod that made the game playable for me, rather than it being a maddening mayhem of micromanagement. Thanks!
Sona 25 May, 2017 @ 4:19pm
Thanks so much for your hard work Zorba! It's so awesome to see so much of what your mods did be implemented into the game.

Hopefully you get a little extra time to rest with a few mods off your hands! ;)
Maelstromeous 25 May, 2017 @ 2:04pm
Thank you for this mod! Gladly A17 added into the base game, hopefully Tynan will credit you if he used bits of your code or whatnot.
DuckAndCower 24 May, 2017 @ 8:42pm
Hey man, thanks for making the game so much more comfortable to play for the past few versions. Really excellent work, and I look forward to seeing what else you can do!
Rhekis 24 May, 2017 @ 6:08pm
Thanks, really enjoyed this mod prior to A17!
Imp0815 24 May, 2017 @ 4:20pm
I really hope Tynan Sylvester has Credited you in any way for your Mod that he incorporated into the new patch. He did not in the Video he made, but i hope somewhere else i didn't see. Without it it would make him look like a dick.
BlueTressym 13 May, 2017 @ 6:33am
Thanks for getting back to me :) I notice that many of your mods have been put into vanilla A17; it's great to see that it's been recognized how common-sense and generally awesome they are! I still love your stories though! :D
ZorbaTHut  [author] 13 May, 2017 @ 5:12am
@BlueTressym, from what I recall, Enhanced Crafting pretty much supersedes this mod - it does everything (or near enough to everything), as well as some more stuff. So you probably don't need this one :)

Glad you're enjoying the mods!
BlueTressym 7 May, 2017 @ 6:01pm
I have AC - Enhanced Crafting; how does this one work with that? Is the functionality the same? Also, I love your mods; I think I have almost all of them.
ZorbaTHut  [author] 18 Apr, 2017 @ 6:59am
@RayZoar, it absolutely should, yes. Feed The Colonists just adds a few new recipe types.
Rayy 17 Apr, 2017 @ 9:20am
Could this work with the mod: 'Feed The Colonists'?
JagenXI 20 Mar, 2017 @ 8:04am
I was just fussing over this, ive been with rimworld since the beginning and always thought damn my cook cant get anything done
v 14 Mar, 2017 @ 5:13pm
Okay, thanks!
ZorbaTHut  [author] 14 Mar, 2017 @ 3:42pm
@\//\, I ran out of space in the UI! But if I remember correctly, I set it up so you could hold shift and ctrl to increment things in larger amounts. I forget the exact details but I think that works.
v 14 Mar, 2017 @ 3:36pm
Hi, could you add +/-250 buttons? :)
Violetiquette 5 Mar, 2017 @ 6:19am
This mod saves me so much hassle. Thank you for making and maintaining it <3
ZorbaTHut  [author] 28 Feb, 2017 @ 10:43pm
@Fate, I'm sorry to report that thread is specifically looking for content additions, not mechanics additions :)

On the other hand, I know for a fact that he's aware of this mod. Personally I'd love to stop maintaining it :V
Fate 27 Feb, 2017 @ 9:59am
(psst) have you considered this for this mod?

ZorbaTHut  [author] 26 Jan, 2017 @ 7:42pm
@Moonkiss, I do not; I was never able to come up with a design that I was satisfied with. Right now I'm way too busy to work on it, unfortunately.
Moonkiss 26 Jan, 2017 @ 11:43am
Do you have mod with same mechanic for stockpiles?
SquirrelGnut 22 Jan, 2017 @ 7:11pm
@sapling, you can use the Mending mod to just recycle any crafted apparel below the quality that you want.
ZorbaTHut  [author] 21 Jan, 2017 @ 4:29am
@sapling, I'm kind of hesitant to start adding a bunch of automation-y features like that. It's certainly possible, but it's not the kind of thing I ever end up doing ingame, and it would add a bunch of UI clutter.

Whenever I start coming up with ideas like that, they always balloon into full automation, and then I want to create a full production line, and then I just end up playing Factorio for a few days instead ;) At least with the way I play, Rimworld just isn't the game for that.
sapling 20 Jan, 2017 @ 7:59pm
Any chance of adding a feature that lets you 'Do until you have X of quality X (or greater)'? I hate to put something huge like Power Armor on 'Do Forever' but usually I'm trying to get a standard of Excellent or above and have to go keep checking every time they make one or two pieces if they're the right quality, or if not up the target by +1 until l sell the lower quality items to.

Excellent mod too, thanks for keeping it up, not sure how I would ever play without it. :)
Esse Coisa 19 Jan, 2017 @ 9:34pm
Definitely on my must-have list. Works great with the export mod too!
