yeah i had a level load crash that wouldn't go away until I disabled all of my map packs. Just a heads up

Doctor Mandarb had to check his PCPs and update some. It sounded like the positioning of some of the models in his PCP pack altered when used with WoTC.

WotC has seperate sdk mod tools, and dir structure is different to base game making map mods not work till updated

Only if your map pack includes any plots will you need to update. Parcels-only or PCP-only packs are just fine

From what I read, Map-Mods appearently won't have all their stuff load anymore.

@Đrλgonsdoom Apparently WotC makes some pretty substantial changes to the way mods work, resulting in a lot of mods now crashing the game or not working properly.

@strife One tree in one PCP is currently not providing cover. Everything else is functional.
@Black Raven I didn't know how to do this until just now. I will add the tag when I figure out my other problem mentioned previously.

I think the answer is technically yes, because there is no way this mod could conflict with a mod for a different game.

@Tuvka @ADVENT Avenger I'm sorry, I tried to look at this but I had some difficulties getting the changes I made to 'take'. I'll try to look at this again but I don't have a timeline for a fix yet. :csdmeh:

Sorry no its not all sides, it has some tiles with Cover. One side has full on all 3, the other has 2 out of 3 OK. Both ends with 2 are not covered at all.

@Advent Avenger I'd be happy to repair it if I can figure out which map it is. I don't recognize the features of that PCP in the screenshot you posted, but if you see it again I'd be happy to examine it.

Unrelated but ive also seen a blacksite facility map where the big 3 tiles tree doesnt provide cover on any sides :(

@ADVENT Avenger Ok, I'm afraid I don't recognize that one :( None of my PCPs have cliffsides in them yet, and from that angle it looks a bit like that tree might be part of the cliffside plot. Have you asked McDenny? He might recognize it.

@Đrλgonsdoom I don't, the map is from McDenny's Suffer series. It's just a tree in a smooth area. The tiles are too high i guess so theyre not selected properly? Sorry i cant help more :(

This looks really nice! A small piece of feedback though: I dunno if it is only because of the way the screenshots are made, but i think some of the cover objects in your parcels don't have the established minimum of 2 tiles between them. a.E. the boxes in the 2nd or the tires and the tree in the 3rd screenshot. I may be wrong, but consider to change this since this kind of arrangement was avoided for a reason: a unit in that spot would be incredibly hard to flank.

@Speedmaster Thanks for the feedback! The way X2 maps work is mostly modular, so CS maps would likely need to be sliced up and distributed in bits over their own category of map.

@danielmratliff21 I will keep it in mind but I can't make any promises ;) I'm contemplating some more experimental PCPs that are a little further out of the ordinary - If I get to those I may release them as a seperate pack. I've always liked the dropship pad parcels when i've encountered them. Sadly only so many modding hours in a given week..
