Everything works fine for me too. (Testing w/o any mods)

@9Strike Please try to find out whether there is a mod-related error, you may also send a console-log or search for errors there. I'll try to help as I can.

@Koro The map is 90% props, so it's a little different than most other maps. But it still shouldn't be that big of an issue, does it without any other mods installed? If there's an error, you may post it here to and I'll see what I can do.

@all So I've just updated the map, hopefully everything works now! The only thing I still wasn't able to fix is the "missing $basetexture" error that is pretty weird because the texture works as expected. If you find any more bugs, please let me know.

@Holy okay so the removal of the "hands" as well as the planks was by intention, I remade the whole map. But according to your feedback I'll change up those things again. Expect an update in the next 2-3 days. I'll take a look at the lighting for myself, that's a thing I'm not so confident fixing but I'll try. Thanks for your feedback!

so, i noticed the map got updated, but it broke about everything, all of those "hands" for traitor map things are gone, some wooden planks in the forest are gone so people are trapped in there if they go to the wrong place. the lighting between the forest and the main map is broken for spectators, and a lot of weapons are missing from the beach at the big boat. it also turned 180° to the left, so you can't really jump on it anymore. I don't know if that's just me, but that's how it is right now (or at least for me)

Okay guys! So I updated the map just now and everything seems to be working perfectly! I hope, I was able to fix as many bugs as possible, the only one left is some kind of skybox-texture error that seems to be TF2-related. But it's non-critical and has no effect on gameplay.

Okay first of all: Sorry for keeping you all on wait here, I was (and still am) busy doing my final grade in germany and wasn't really paying attention for what's going on here. I'll be at home next weeks and I'll spend some time fixing all the current bugs in this map.

@Confusion
The sound file is baked into the map, so there shouldn't be any issue with that. Did you extract it by any chance and modify it? Maybe it's conflicting with any other outset-island / zelda mod you've installed?

Yeah, that sadly is a known issue to me. The map is made out of models only, which is why lighting is a little complicated. I probably messed up the compilation and I'll fix it next week.

Glad to hear that it's working now! As I said, the map is made out of models which isn't quite what the source engine was designed for. That may decrease the performance on this map in general. Maybe it's also related to the Fullbright-Bug, which will be fixed soon.

Just wanted to give a quick update. After trying out a few things I found a way to increase the FPS. By launching GMOD in borderless window mode and using the multicore-enabling cfg file from: http://chronet.com/threads/how-to-enable-multicore-rendering-in-gmod-improve-your-fps.7655/ I now get 60 FPS almost everywhere on the map while having 7 bots alive.

I hope this can help others who face similar problems with the map! :)

I did a bit of testing around. For my testing I looked at the FPS I get when I'm alone on the map and the FPS when having 7 bots. When playing ttt_nuclear_power_b3 I usually get a consistent 50-60 FPS all over the map except the spawn area which drops to around 30 when I'm alone and also with the 7 bots. When playing on ttt_outset_island I get consistent 60 FPS when I'm alone but the moment I add bots I lose around 6 FPS per bot. With 7 bots I get very inconsistent FPS. On top of the cliffs there are around 30 FPS while down at the beach there are drops as severe as 10 FPS.
From what I see from your setup you're hardware is definetly superior to mine ( currently playing on an ASUS notebook with a GTX850M and an i5-4200 2.80 GHz ) though it seems weird to me that this beautiful map for some reason drops this hard compared to others like nuclear_power.

Still gonna be keeping your map though and see what the future holds! :)

Me and my friends never had a problem concerning FPS. Full capped 60 for me personally. (Using a GTX 970 and i7-5820k) The map is completely made out of models, so it is hard to optimize it even further in performance. I did not make the models, thats all Litronoms great work! Maybe he knows some advice for you. What would be interesting for me though is, is this the only map you're getting FPS issues with? Have you tried ttt_nuclear_power ? That one caused a lot of lags for me playing on lower hardware. Also, whats your hardware?

I really like what you have done with the map since the beginning! I have a question though. How much FPS do you usually get on it? My friends and I have very fluctuating FPS while walking over different areas. There are sections that run with around 60 but also some that drop to 30 FPS or lower.

I'm german too, but I'll answer in english, so other people can read this too ;D Okay the .bsp is like a .zip container, it contains all resources the server needs. Just drag the .bsp and that should be enough.

I downloaded your map because we are huge Zelda fand and the map is amazing. now i have a question, have i need to drag and drop all folders and all files in the map folder on the Server ? or is the .bsp enough ? sry for my bad english im ectually german XD

This likely is a problem that occurs when you have games mounted other than ep2, css, and tf2 on the server or client.

I remember this being a problem for quite some time now. I've heard complaints about custom soundscapes in other maps as well. They are broken in multiplayer, but not in singleplayer. I honestly don't know what to do in this case.
