@Dęąth Viper
I would if i could, the original project files are sorta gone at this point.

Also if i remember correctly the reason the file size is so large is because the tools only allow for Wav files and they make like 3 or 4 copies of them. So unless they changed something about that its kinda hard to cook them harder.
Dęąth Viper 19 Dec, 2024 @ 8:15pm
cook the assets so the file size is reduced :D
Yakasuki  [author] 19 Dec, 2024 @ 8:09pm
@Dęąth Viper
What exactly do you mean by "cook this"?
Dęąth Viper 19 Dec, 2024 @ 7:50pm
Can you cook this?
spoon 4 Nov, 2024 @ 4:40pm
@yakasuki meant to put gift in the last comment.
Yakasuki  [author] 31 Oct, 2024 @ 9:00pm
@spoon If robojumper ever updates MMS I would probably be right on it.
spoon 31 Oct, 2024 @ 8:28pm
@yakasuki i would something if you made one for reach
Yakasuki  [author] 29 Jan, 2024 @ 8:23am
@MK19
MMS is the required mod for something like this to work. The Music Modding System made by robojumper.
MK19 29 Jan, 2024 @ 8:05am
What's the MMS? (sorry for my lack of knowledge)
Yakasuki  [author] 28 Jan, 2024 @ 2:17pm
@MK19

Was working on reach at one point but decided it wasn't worth it until MMS is updated for WOTC. So until then i wouldn't count on me making any more. Also if it were to update i would probably redo all the current packs. They are outdated and incomplete and also were made when i had a significant lack of audio tech knowledge.
MK19 27 Jan, 2024 @ 8:26pm
Could you please make one for Halo Reach? We've got almost all of the Bungie OSTs, except for Reach, H2 and CE:A
AdamGoodtime 13 Dec, 2022 @ 11:44am
Nice! ODST always had my favourite soundtrack of the HALO games.
Dęąth Viper 22 Aug, 2021 @ 5:05pm
This is great. Thank god for the super computer because this mod alone makes lag with anyone below a 1060ti.
ChiefNob1e 24 Sep, 2020 @ 1:55am
Oh yeah....
Jedi Biscuit 20 Jan, 2019 @ 11:00am

Oh cool, I didn't expect a response from anyone so soon, that's good to know you're considering redoing the pack, but I dunno about doing it yet with rumors of new XCOM 2 dlc

Until the music modding system is WOTC compatable this wont be unfortunatly. I mean i could run it threw the WOTC Modding Buddy but i dont think it would really do anything to make it compatable. Maybe in the future as i did at one point plan on redoing the whole pack itself.
Silf! 1 Jul, 2018 @ 7:00am
Will this ever be made WOTC compatible? So far only the main menu music changes.
Vice 12 Jun, 2018 @ 5:59pm
if anyone is wondering this works fine for WOTC (at least for me)
Dęąth Viper 8 May, 2018 @ 7:47am
omg I love this. This is just what I needed to complete my xcom mod experience. THANK YOUUU
Gunvarrel 9 Mar, 2018 @ 4:11pm
Cool. Will do.
Yakasuki  [author] 9 Mar, 2018 @ 9:31am
Thats cool, Personally i don't know were to start with LW2 but i think it would be best to take it over to the Music Modding System page instead. Robojumper and ∑3245 are better sources to contact for these kinds of issues and could possibly share more insight.
Gunvarrel 9 Mar, 2018 @ 9:27am
I'm using vanilla XCOM 2 and Long War 2. I've got the Music Modding System, BUT it requires a WOTC Mod Config Menu. (There is a legacy Mod Config Menu which I'm using despite the MMS dependency.) The ODST music works on the main menu screen, but doesn't seem to work in any missions. I'm led to believe this is because LW2 uses different mission "types" that the music mod isn't prepared for, or the MMS dependency issue, but just wanted to let you know what my issue was anyway.
wookiecop 16 May, 2017 @ 4:18pm
Hey, I noticed that music doesn't really change when combat happens. Whats with that?
Zam138 23 Feb, 2017 @ 3:05pm
Um, yes, I'd like to report a problem, this mod doesn't make it rain all the time, nor does it make it rain plasma from Alien Battleships at chryssalids on the field. I'm very let down by this obvious design flaw. (I'm joking, there's nothing wrong with the mod.)
Yakasuki  [author] 17 Feb, 2017 @ 11:10am
@DeadLock no problem, if you head off to the "music modding system" page and go to the discussions they have a tutorial on how to make these packs if your really interested
Jesse Fleet 17 Feb, 2017 @ 8:19am
@Yakasuki Fair enough. I might see if I can make my own one, I've been dying to attempt to create my own mods for XCOM :) Thanks for the quick reply too!
Yakasuki  [author] 16 Feb, 2017 @ 4:28pm
@DeadLock i have no plans to do halo 5 sadly
Jesse Fleet 16 Feb, 2017 @ 2:45pm
Is there any chance of a Halo 5 music pack? Just wondering, "The Light Is Green" would be such a cool one to splice into the game! :3
Yakasuki  [author] 22 Jan, 2017 @ 11:59am
@Toxinia i dont think thats a problem with the pack its self but more with the "music modding system" ive told this to somebody becore and im that is that im just adding music to the game, im not really doing anything.
Toxi 22 Jan, 2017 @ 10:29am
The soundtrack works great for a while then it randomly just stops playing at all in my save files, permanently. any fix?
Yakasuki  [author] 15 Jan, 2017 @ 1:27pm
@d09smeehan <MHN> it should be in there ill check sometime tonight.
d09smeehan <MHN> 15 Jan, 2017 @ 9:29am
Awesome fit. Especially when you mod the game to play as the UNSC.

Question though. Is Deference for Darkness in this, because that's probably the most memorable part of the soundtrack to me, and I haven't heard it yet.
robojumper 21 Oct, 2016 @ 2:41pm
@Zvonimir
It allows tracks that don't specify a mission type to play alongside with tracks that define a mission type, because otherwise these have priority.
Zvonimir 21 Oct, 2016 @ 2:40pm
Ever find out what the mix in indifferent option was?
AConfusedAlpaca ♡ 22 Sep, 2016 @ 1:57am
This fits XCOM so well. Almost too well...

Anywho, thanks for porting this in it makes those night time missions so much better.
PLEASE DO NOT BULLY ME 20 Sep, 2016 @ 12:34pm
ODST was my favorite Halo, due in no small part to the music. This is just fuckin' great. Thanks!
Yakasuki  [author] 20 Sep, 2016 @ 2:17am
@marshmallow justice all but 2 or 3 tracks due to size and well not really sure were to put them...
marshmallow justice 20 Sep, 2016 @ 1:43am
Loved Bungie's scores on ODST, handpan drums kinda sounds were really intense and dark.
How many tracks would you say did you manage to get into this?
Yakasuki  [author] 18 Sep, 2016 @ 9:55pm
@Zvonimir i actually have no clue... i'd go ask robojumper for that as i havent seen that option before.
Zvonimir 18 Sep, 2016 @ 8:45pm
Best music mod ever. Thanks for all the hard work Yakasuki™ and robojumper for making this mod even possable. I had one question tho the mix in indifferent option, does it allow music that is normal only played on a specfic misson or scripted even to be play anyway?
Yakasuki  [author] 18 Sep, 2016 @ 11:08am
@Condensed TurtleFlesh hey no problem man but honestly you should be thanking robojumper for the hard work and making the music modding system, all i did was plug stuff in, in a few configs, and threw music into a upk.
haze1999 18 Sep, 2016 @ 10:41am
Holy crap, you have no idea how long I wanted this. Thank you for making this a reality.
Yakasuki  [author] 17 Sep, 2016 @ 2:42pm
@Ainz if you need a more descriptive explaination on how it works, I would reccommend going to the music modding systems page and ask.
Yakasuki  [author] 17 Sep, 2016 @ 2:40pm
@Ainz i personally test the live versions to make sure that the mod works form the downloaded variation instead of the one i built on my computer.
Yakasuki  [author] 17 Sep, 2016 @ 2:39pm
@Ainz just grab the items listed and you should be good to go, all you need to do is enable them in the mod menu and if you dont hear the new menu music then something is wrong
Kaybern 17 Sep, 2016 @ 2:21pm
on the topic of that cn i ask exactly how these music pack mods work? do i just download this + music modding system mod and thats all i need to do to make this mod work in game or do i have to manually go and mod in the music or something
Yakasuki  [author] 17 Sep, 2016 @ 1:28pm
@Ainz hey ill make a big one if i get enough requests for it, all i know is that it would be one of the biggest things ive ever made for a music pack
Kaybern 17 Sep, 2016 @ 12:04pm
i hope this includes skyline or atleast the last 2-3 mins of it i think that was the best track in odst cuase of how hype it was.

Tbt some one needs to do a big mash up of all the best tracks from the halo series
Yakasuki  [author] 17 Sep, 2016 @ 11:16am
@marshmallow justice i bought the odst soundtrack on amazon and then converted it to .wav
