I just used floor lamps, it's just that other ancient ones don't have ceiling lamps either(or I just don't remember)

I like this mod, but my only issue is with indoor lighting, any lights you hang from the ceiling are very low, almost that characters could hit their heads on them, otherwise the buildings function as needed

After u build building u must exit build mode, enter build mod and then build ramps

How do u build them? got research, but when i tried to build he just idled. Even when I ticked and un-ticked the job box he just stood there. Am I doing something wrong?

U need builld ancient lab, exit build mod, enter build mod and then u can build ramp.

I can't seem to build a ramp on the ancient lab. I tried building the building then tacking on the ramp but i cant build the lab without having access to the top. am i doing anything wrong? if so please help.

I do it but they dont shout. If i use plattforms then they can't climb on them

BTW: I noticed that one particular feature is missing: the player cannot build any turrets on the upper exterior concrete platform around the central structure (the battlements, so to speak).

Is there a way to add snapping points for turrets in FCS / World Editor or change the structure properties so that the player can freely place any turrets around the outer ring?

I believe these snapping points are called "turret nodes" under Instances in Building properties in FCS.

There are already nodes for lamps on the exterior walls and they work flawlessly (tested with both Ancient Lab and Ancient Citadel).

Ancient Citadel have a gate but u should built it like ramps for walls

this is an awesome mod. what i found difficult is trying to put the gate stair on. it would be great if it was already attached. For the win being able to place lights and turrets on it. then you dont need large gate the perfect base.

I have an odd bug that I wanted to let you know about... I am doing the experimental edition and for some reason with your mod enabled I cannot research the outpost techs nor can I build any of them including the content of this mod. I know that the experimental part is not stable but I wanted to let you know there may be a conflict coming down the line… I wish I could use this mod as it is super cool... I tried to poke around to see where if any there was a conflict but I have not found it… Overall good work by the way… :steamsad:

1) go into build mode and select "ancient lab" in buildings tab
2) hover mouse around until building turns green. You may want to try to rotate the building to get it straight or unlolck green spots
3) once you find a suitable spot click so the green building layout stays in place. View all sides to make sure you like placement.
4) Click on "confirm" button when satisfied. Your building should no longer be green but have the red construction grid.
5) Now click on "Ancient lab Ramp (gate)" in the building tab
6)mouse over to the skeleton of the building you just created and hover around till it turns green.
7) Confirm Construction, let your workers build ramp first
8) Furnish your lab and throw a party

Thanks. I have an idea that when the whole map opens opens up to use the ancient lab as an outpost with a wall around it throughout the map.

Ramps for the ancient lab work as a ramp for the walls, you can not build a ramp if you will not frame walls. Here as well. You must first build a lab, get the body (ie, persist in design mode) and then go and have knitted attach to the frame rail. My English is not very much and I have not taught the rules, so that there may be an error

Currently using Citadel but would like to build ancient lab however when I try to attach either ramps it says 'To close to another building' any help. Thanks

Build point on the top of the lab. you must build Ramp and you workers will build it

81 hours?!?!?!PS: Awesome mod, found a couple of those towers (the HUGE one with the spiral to the top) and really really really wanted to make a base of em someday
