That being said, I've being tweaking the animations more (I actually updated the animations once already), but won't probably be updating them before I'm really satisfied with the result.
Similar things happen on mag-in: you rock the magazine into the mag well, your hand still goes the "braking distance" by trying to move the mag even further, causing the rifle to travel some distance as well.
Same for pulling the bolt. Even when you pull the bolt to the very end, you still keep pulling it even further, just to make sure. When you release it, it quickly slams back to the front, transferring some of its kinetic energy to the whole rifle, sorta making 'er jump forward.
I kinda see what you mean about the animation (especially the firing anim, reload IMO isn't that bad), but then again it is still pretty big improvement when compared to the old anims.

Also, this seems the be the only submission not featured in any of your collections, unlike the M16 version.
But the shooting animation is wonky and the reload-animation lacks weight.
I somehow totally missed your follow up comment and only noticed it now.
I like how the "408" looks like. Pretty futuristic for something developed in 40s. If/when I at some point continue my cyberpunk themed mods, that one would fit in pretty well (regardless of its age).
The second is a TKB-408, also known as "Korobov's avtomat". It was developed and tested for the same contest as the AK in 1946. No points for guessing who won.
The third, also the child of Korobov, is the TKB-022. This thing appeared way before its time, in the 60s, and was never produced.

The game model actually has flashlight attached. Front handguard is kind of hiding it. You can see it during reload animation.
Glad you like the mod :)
Just curious, would you be able to add the flaslight to the w model?
otherwise an excellent and unique mod
Aww well puns aside now that I think about it I guess a lee enfield would be a more reasonable weapon as it's still being used around the world despite being made in the late 1800's I'm just really happy to see the Finnish version of the AK is out on the mod shop finally I heard the Finn's were good at taking Russian weapons and improving them like with the Mosin Nagant and the famous AK-47.
I wonder if well see some Canadian stuff like the C7 rifles. C:
