I would love to buy WH2 but my PC is not strong enough to run it (for now ;). And does this mod helps for this problem? since it makes the AI more aggressive.

does have nothing to do with chaos invasion, as this happens after a set of turns, which got only fixed in wh2
CA never fixed it

Should work, but I strongly advise skipping Warhammer 1 - it's AI is broken, as after some Time, often when Chaos arises, it stops doing anything and you will have camping Armies, which don't defend their Cities or anything else.

Either this Mod here in Hard or the Better AI in Normal.
In Lite its more passive bc of Vanilla Diplomacy - use it then in Combination with the Diplomacy Overhaul Mod here.

A Harder AI can be more fun, but also me more frustrating, you have to really pay more Attention and trained in the Gameplay.

Hey minos, im looking to start the game with mods because i was tired of the enemy just standing there and waiting for me whether i was attacking or defending. long story short im quite new to modding and was wondering which of your 3 mods would you recommend? should i start lite then go for one with vanilla cheats for ai? i dont want to go from steam rolling to steam rolled but i'd like the game so much more if i could watch two armies march towards each other. thank you in advance for any help.

Mods are loaded in Filename Order - so you have to make sure that the other Chaos Invasion gets loaded before.
As long as the Invasion didnt come, you can switch to the new Chaos Invasion.

Chaos has tweaked Army Compilation in this one here.
But if you want more Chaos Armies, you have to use a harder Chaos Invasion Script Mod and load it in Front of this here.

This mod should be integrated into the main game. This is how the friggin campaign should be like, not the current shenanigans we have now where AI basically don't expand for shit, with so many ruins scattered throughout the map and factions just sit in their castles for 100 turns.

Makes horde gamplay tougher but much more action packed.

With this version of Better AI (standard one works fine) whenever i play Norsca i am able to recruit Lord of Change straith away from hero pool, also the special Hellcanon is avalibe instantly from ROR pool.

This problem happens only with this version of Better AI.

Well its weird ,also disabled LL item-quests completely and I was unable to recruit Kholek as WoC.

Anyways I played a bit of WoC and it would be nice if you could tone down their lust for colonization of ruins. I had a nordland come to my starting position as Chaos Warrios and resettle Kraka Drak. I razed city and it was instantly resettleded in few turns. It turned out to not raze settlement completely because AI was only benefiting from this. In late game my razed provinces were colonized by truly random AI-players. Literally rainbow coloured map it was.

Or rampaging Karl Franz running through 100% corrupted chaos areas and he was slowly killing himself or chasing my low level Lords forever. Same happened for my Dwarf coop mate, he was chased by Grimdor from Badlands to Eschen ( near VC )

Its kinda ridiculous, if you could tone down a focus-on-player and resettling-rampage would be nice.

I have to look into it - sadly Mod Manager crashed my Steam and redownloaded all Mods again.

Game ctd right after start with this mod enabled after your update of today sadly. Deactivating it makes it run fine again. No other of my mods got updated recently.

These are all Very Hard Personalities from Vanilla!

But i changed the Behaviour of Defensive ones (in Vanilla hearly all Empire and Dwarfs are defensive, until the Lategame) and Aggressive Ones, so that the Description doesnt fit anymore, so that i REMOVED only the DESCRIPTION of these Traits - they still differ from each other in Terms of Diplomacy.
So you just see some others more often - i still need to remove the Description of Ruin Dweller.

Vampires are and were always Opportunistic Schemers.

The Personalities fit to what Faction you play - playing as Dwarfs or Empire will lead to underdog obedient Orcs, which are more likely to ally and confederate each other, whereas as Orcs playing you will see the Opposite.
This is also a Vanilla Feature.

I dislike Ruin Dweller as well. I get why you did it, but other mods have AI resettle more without forcing it with that trait. I'm fine with Unreliable though, AI is still reliable enough in alliances, they are a bit too static with their relationships in vanilla. But at least one "signature" trait instead of Ruins Dweller would give back some character to the factions.

Is it a feature of this mod that basically every AI faction is an Unreliable Ruin Dweller? That's what I get when playing with Karl Franz with only this mod active: almost everybody is "unreliable" and "ruin dweller". Some are also "schemers" (e.g. the vampires). Some trade "unreliable" for "underdog" (e.g. the orcs near Marienburg).

I tried to change the invasion event , but every time i change values for first wave and late wave and save the .pack file it's get back to normal in game after while. Any ideas how to make it work ?

Hii! two questions, this mod is compatible with Diplomatic Affinity Overhaul? and It is possible to make a small mod like those of your collection but only with this points - act better on the Campaign Map (Attacking, Defending. Retreating) act better regarding Sallyout while Sieges?

Hello friend, really cool mod! Thanks for sharing it with us. I do have some questions... first, how many of your other mods does this one include, I can see that you already tweaked the colonization issue in this one, does that mean I won't need your other mod that changes that? IS tere any other mods that would be redundant installing? Secondly, do mods like Fear the Chaos and Green Tide conflict with this mod? Or the Diplomatic Affinity overhaul mod and lite version? ANd I don't know if you know about the recent mod that introduces the legitimacy mechanic to the empire, would that conflict with this mod during a empire campaign? Thanks a lot! Really great job!
