My font was broken and it didn't show things like stockpiles, population, objectives and descriptions. It made the game unplayable. Your mod fixed almost all issues. I want to kiss you for this.

For an old man like me, this is a very nice and helpful mod.

Primarily it was necessary for me to choose a font of width as narrow as possible so that the text is displayed without being cut off.
I can't distinguish v from y in Linotype. Because the lower part is cut off when I increase the font size.
Univers and Helvetica are not installed by default in my Windows 7 PC.But Helvetica is similar with Arial.
I finally adopted Arial Bold 12 point as a main font after trial and error.
I understand that "they form black rectangles" as you point it out. Arial Bold is not the best choice, but I think that it is better for wide monitor multiplayers.
I can upload "Thin font Mod" immediately if you expect it.
However, Arial Narrow will be inferior to visibility thin from Georgia Bold(default English font).

As a gamer who dabbles in typography, you need something with more width. Words are too black and condensed, so they form black rectangles. Tracking those letters out more would help too. Idk much about editing this, but if you decide to, change it to a wider typeface (Univers, Helvetica, Linotype) and increase letter-tracking. I personally wouldn't like having this as it would take away from immersion when I play (multiplayer though would be very useful).

Good mod. Some of the longer campaign texts (ingame) might be cut (line height) in the third line, but that's fine. Recommended mod for anyone playing 1920x1080 and above.

This helps so much, finally text that you can actually see when you attempt to play this game on a 4k monitor. Sucks that the "devs" don't want to put the effort on allowing you to select resolutions for this game or supporting higher resolutions otherwise.

Skybox have the worst devs i ever sure in a game. Sure many games have worse devs,but skybox are the kings of worst devs ever.
Look at Age of Mythology Extended too. They release so a worse addon with overpowered chinese and only use exist sound,animations ect. Nothing is really new and with this addon/dlc they ruined the maingame.

And the maingame have such a poor quality too,impossible to have good multiplayer-games. And skybox do nothing to fix it FOR YEARS and will not give any reports to the comminity. Skybox do absolute nothing !!!!

So i can understand the guy who wanted to see Skybox will goes bankrupt very well. Such worse devs search better for another job!
