Make sure to enable the mod in Content Management.
Then, place a road or two, and hit play. You start with 70k, build one road, hit play and 1M goes into your funds. Happy building.

it works, but you need to activate it under the mod section ingame. objects are activated without extra moves, but mods like that you need to activate. I hope I could help you. have fun :)

The mod is working to date it will take several seconds to apply maybe several minutes I assume it has to do with how many mods you have installed.

This mod DOES work, but if you use with a mod that Unlocks, there is a good chance of failure. For me, this fails when I used with any form of "Unlock All" or "Extended Game Options" to set town to start later (such as Boom Town).

@abnuca I tried myself and I found it was being stubborn for me too. There is this mod here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=855704599&searchtext=money+start that uses the same souse code as myself with an option to set the start money amount.

What do you mean by "If this dose not work save the file as a new file with a new mod name inside the file and a new file name so it will appear as another mod and it should work."?
That is, I have edited the "cs" file without problems with the new quantity. Is there any other change to make "inside the file"? I have modified the name of the "cs" file, however then a new mod does NOT APPEAR in the game as you say. The mod figure in the game is still 1,000,000.

As long as the game isn't running when you edit the correct value and you check that it did save it will work as the game reads that very number you change and no other number. If your positive you did it correct I can only assume you have two change money mods and depending on load order will not work.

editing the value that I described on the mod is exacly what I did to make all the different options available directly from the workshop. The only possible conflicts I can think of is another start money mod or maybe you had the game still running in the background so it didn't save the edit, goodluck.
