That is specifically targetting trees, but I guess you could try other things.
Do you know how these values are called and where they are? I already looked in base_config.lua but the terms used by the devs are no clear.

I just started a new game with only this mod active and its working as expected., so not sure why its not for you, perhaps conflicting with another mod?
@Markom, I think the engine decides during auto-placement. When making a map with a heightmap, you can set the cities initial size,, but think these settings are the only way to control generated maps.

You can do quite a lot from that file alone.
And how should I this safely? just backup the file somewhere else, or a specific location for overrides?
P.s It's the same file as above, just change spacing values under "game.config.world"
Can you do one for industry density, it seems like there are way too many industry cramped together.
I haven't tried it on a smaller computer :P only on mine, hence why I also gave the information on how you can edit it yourself to your own personal preference.
