I haven't tested this map for quite sometime, and to be honest I don't have the map files with me anymore (Also I'd have to install GMOD to test this).

However, I do know that some of my maps have old info-nodes (this happens when I don't fully delete info-node .ain file before the final build of the map), which will prevent certain addons to work properly (for example Zinv+). So this may be one of those maps.

However, you could try restarting the game.
Deleting the .gma file and redownloading the map.

Oh, I found the source of the problem. It was necessary to enter ai_norebuildgraph 1 into the developer's console so that the engine would not recreate the Ai nodes. I'm sorry to trouble you.

Can you please clarify on what do you mean by "there are no AI nodes on this map".
I've just downloaded it (The map hammer files are long gone) and the NPCs do walk around, give chase and so on.

However, if you are trying to use some kind of spawning system like ZINV+, than console will tell you that there are no info_nodes / AI nodes present despite the fact that they are present and thus won't spawn any NPCs.
To fix the issue, I would need to simply delete the .ain file with the old .bsp and than recompile the .bsp file.

However, if you believe that overwriting the .ain file with a new .ain file is going to fix the issue, than go ahead, upload the paths that you've made so that people may enjoy the map, you may as well create a Discussion thread with the link to your fix.

Damn dude, there are no AI nodes on this map. I mean when entering the map, Nodes begin to rebuild and eventually all the nodes disappear (the .ain file weighs about 188 kilobytes). So far I have no idea why this is happening, but I think others also have this problem. That is, I have knowledge about editing AI nodes, but I do not know how things are with others there. Please fix this, or give me permission to upload my paths for this map to the Steam Workshop. Thanks!

Well I don't really remember how long did this one take, but usually it takes around two weeks to make a map. The time depends on how many assets/props from the workshop or garrysmod.org are available.

for some odd reason some of my maps have problems using the ZINV, but if you spawn in an NPC you will see that he actually uses the AI nodes.

gm_krastav seems to be working fine now, somehow. But gm_devville doesn't work with zinv, at least for me it doesn't.

I have 3 maps that for some reason don't work with zinv and I don't why.
gm_winterassault, gm_krastav, gm_devville are the maps that zinv doesn't work on, but they do have ai_nodes.

If you don't believe me just load up the map and write in console ai_nodes and you should see green squares everywhere, those are the ai nodes.
If you are using zinv or zinv+ it will show you 'No info_node(s) in map! NPCs will not spawn.' in the console, now I don't know why it does that and I don't know how to fix it.

Also, I think your one of the best damn map makers on the Gmod workshop, because you add everything people need, AI nodes, navmeshs, and you also don't make us get every Half Life game and Counter Strike: Source. And honestly, I think this is my all-time fav map. :steamhappy:

From my experience, this problem can occur when you are using too many addons.
Some addons can conflict with in-game textures or meshes.
Try disabling all of your addons and leave the map that has the 'Initializing game data' problem, see if that works.

And never mind, still doesn't work. Some maps still stop at "Initializing game data..." and does nothing at all (crashes). I'm not sure why, honestly if you could look into it that woudl be great :/

Idk if I fixed it, but it is with gmod now preserving workshop addons it seems after deleting the game. When you-reinstall the game it also does so to your subscriptions but maps seem to break and you have to delet EVERY GMA FILE in the Garrysmod / garrysmod / addons folder so soz for getting mad, this map looked swag. As I said, idk if it fixed this map, TTT vesel was broken but deleting the gmas and letting them all reinstall seemed to fix Vesel so maybe your map will work :derp:

Interesting, the skybox texture does change when hdr is enabled, I will see what I can do change that.

The sky problem occurs for me when I have HDR enabled, the sky has no $hdrbasetexture, and I originally commented that you could fix it by adding that keyvalue, but apparently I don't know how HDR skies work. Turning off HDR and restarting the map should fix the sky, though.
