I'm sorry to say this, but I probably won't update my weapon mods since my work on the inevitable weapon megapack is nearly complete. However, this statement might change later in the future if I decide that progress on the weapon megapack is going nowhere.
Sorry for the inconvenience...
Either way great work on the weapons! They all look great.
Also thanks for the replies.
That depends if Pavonis externalized the Action Cost of the sniper firing and standard firing abilities.
Most likely they didn't.
That's definitely not happening, since it's tied to the ability itself and not the weapon.
At least you're honest. Thanks for letting me know.
I would add the ghille M21, but most of the attachments would just clip through. I'd have to add a special version of the M21, maybe later down the line.
That's gonna be tough to do, with the way that I handled attachments with the M21. It was a miracle just to get this to work.
From the looks of it, that probably has something to do with the abilities, I'm afraid.
I'm not sure what's going on then. Everything is in order on my side.
Yes, I had already save the config file, and when I opened the config file, the number of damage had already changed..but when I started game and tried to changed the weapon to M21, the damage back to original one.
by the way, I played xcom2 in offline mod, and I copied all mod files into folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\Common\XCOM 2\XComGame\Mods
only this time, I failed to modify weapon haha
Did you save it at all?
Also, Steam could be re-downloading the mod after you launch XCom 2, reverting the changes that you've made. You might have to set the INI file to read only.
Can I ask, why I can't modify the damage number and the other stuffs?
I tried to change it, but it would back into original damage when I got into games.
Thanks for answer
I'm not sure that you've noticed, but I did port Millenia's M4 not too long ago:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=782889917
It's not the SOPMOD version though.
I think I've done enough Assault Rifles to last a lifetime. I could port the M4A1 SOPMOD and maybe the M14 (M1A SOCOM), since everyone has been asking for that particular version of the assault rifle, but that's probably the only Assault Rifle that I'm gonna port.
Hold on a sec. I've gotta upload the new changes to the ini, which includes the Action Cost, which may or may not work as intended.
You should be able to set how much action points it cost to fire the weapon, via the INIs.
could i request a small thing? it would be great giving 1 action cost option for sniper style mods.
i want to play like dmr style
I haven't ripped those weapons yet from MWR. Besides, those require new animations.
The M60 would be the ideal weapon to replace, but other than that, probably not. Just new weapons that I've wanted to port but couldn't, such as the RPD, R700, M82, M249 SAW, and maybe the Skorpion.
Fun fact, the M60 from Black Ops was actually a M60E3, not the original M60.
Will you be replacing the models in some of your other ports with the models from MWR, assuming those are better of course (I'd think some of Millenia's work is better than MWR, but I don't know).
