you cant tame alpha wyverns either

On server restarts, all tamed dragons and wyverns from this mod revert to the settings in the ini regardless of current level of the tamed creature. The ini file currently contains the suggested values for all of the dragons and wyverns.

This is a huge pain right now which makes this mod useless. Every tame gets nerfed on a server restart, so all the hard work put into taming the dragon or wyvern, and the hard work put into leveling up go to waste.

This has been posted by a few other people in the bug thread, but this issue needs to be address immediately to make this mod useful again.

Right now taming dragons or wyverns is USELESS as they get NERFED on each server restart.

So I have put in a good number of hours with this mod, I can say the stat problem is still happening even on newer tames, we've done a kill all and then tamed new dragons/wyverns and the next time you log in the stats seem odd like health is 30000/2500...also the drake saddles dont work on drakes, dragons saddles do so no big deal there. Just trying to figure out how to get the stats to stabilize. The mod is great and Im glad you've done all this work! Will wait patiently and hope you can offer some ideas to fix the stat issue.

Is there a way to disable the new wyverns etc? ( i get my wyverns from another mod but love your dragons above all!). Basicly want to keep everything but the base wyverns (zombie/etc are fine)

Well i know all are working on the fixes but we are losing people on our servers cause of these issues. Dragons keep losing HP and Stamina stats and many players have put hours in this. One even hatched 9 dragons eggs the past weekend and everything lost this is not very good. Please have us up to date about any solutions please

For those of gas dragon owners spoiling meat in their inventories, they do that now.
There's a little changelog (Change Note "View") back in March 24th, read as follows:

"Update: Mar 24 @ 7:26am
...setup diffrent inventories for each type (acid- organic polymer keeper, fire - wood to charcoal, gas - raw meat to spoiledmeat and spoiledmeat keeper, ice - ice box, lightning - metal to metal ingot)..."

This means that any raw meat (not prime meat) put into a gas dragon's inventory (Or any gas element) will immediately spoil... this essentially means that it can only eat Prime Meat as a food source, as it doesn't include Prime Meats as an automatic crafting recipe, unlike Raw Meat.

2) The Mod is as large as it is because it uses sublevels to allow it to stack with other mods and not screw anything else up, genius work around for the limited access to the game mechanics Wildcard (with good reason) allows Mod developers.
3) You are correct the game mechanics are different between online, local, and dedicated , it costs money to test all possibilities. I'm sure you've donated plenty.
4) This is a FREE mod being used in a game that is not even in full release. Things happen. I will remember that 100's of hours of game time Is just that. If it's that stressful for you, then need a new hobby.
5) NO MOD IS REQUIRED FOR THE GAME. Please remember that when you threaten to not use the mod. They are doing YOU a favor by publicly providing their material . If you choose not to accept the favor that's up to you. You are not entitled to anything.

other strange thing, force tamed alpha dragons are not affected by this issue.

we love this mod, it' a very good mod but, to avoid theses mistakes, you should test your fixes and patch on a dedicated server before publish to steam.
mod hehaviors are differents in local games, or online server from game, or also on a real dedicated server.

please keep in mind this was the first attemp to add ini and the mod has been in heavy dev recently please be patient while the author works on resolving these issues.

admins can respawn dragons with somes levels, and stats are normal and can grows up with xp gain, but after server reboot, health & stamina drop to level 1, but others stats which stay unchanged.
we understand you cannot repair breaked old dino, but this bug must be fixed. admins can't respawn, all players's dragons & wyverns after each server reboots !

Is it normal for all my whelps what i tame to just die when i logoff.... It doesnt matter if I log off for 10 seconds or 10 hours. They die either way.

@shadowmage316 Sounds like you're trying to tame Extinction Core alpha wyverns, this mods alphas are untamable

So what is going on? our admin did a dinowipe after the last update, and respawned us in dragons that we had, and gav e them xp to level them back to where they were.. and today when we log in the dragons are reset again to only 2k hp whats up with that?

anyone else haveing any issues taming an alpha wyvern?? I have tried photon gun . poison metal arrows with shock arrows shocking tranq and reg tranq darts and tried gasing with a elder gas dragon. all of thease method produced 0 torpor. Then I tried using an alpha carno helm and tried shock arrows and tried to passive tame it with wyvern milk and no go there either. any help on how to tame these would be appreciated... or if they are bugged now help on how to fix would be just as great.

I do like this mod, its the best dragon mod out when its working. I don't want the manticores are they are so glitchy right now with every mod I played with them. But as long as I can disable them I'm cool. And the gas breath is too op right now, one shot shouldn't knock everything out, especially one of its own kind. When battling it would be who hit who first with a gas.
In fact I wanted to try to add a gas attack or fire attack and so forth, but mostly the gas and couldn't figure it out.
But no, please don't think I'm pissed cause the mod situation, I understand full well, but we just need a little more info on these things so we can relay them back to our players is all. Keep up the good work.

Oh I understand christopherstumbaugh. We just need communication to let us know whats going on. Sometimes a mod needs to also stay open and a new version started. I had some unhappy players and some left because of this mods constant bugs. I bug part of this can be addressed with communication. I try to explain to people it's not the server, but mods or ark itself.
I understand full well about learning the dev kit. I played with it too and developed some dinos. The first Tek update broke my dodorex's and I couldn't figure out the cause. Other animals worked fine. But yea, theirs no manual for working with the kit. It's a pain in the butt. But it's hard to explain to people that hey it looks like this mod or this one and will probably be fixed soon when theirs no communication. I try my best to report a problem to the right mod makers.

Hello, I currently run a buffed server and the stats are all turned up for the dragons. The only stat modifier that I am currently having an issue with is the HealthRecoveryMultiplier. No matter what I change this setting to, the dragons heal very slowly.

tried tranqing out an acid dragon and it woke up instantly any reason?

Please Respond! Every time you update your mod, my whelps disappear. I try to load a backup - nothing. I uninstall and reinstall your mod and load a backup - still nothing.

I love your mod and I want to use it, but if this keeps happening I simply can't. If I'm doing something wrong, if you know anything about how to fix this, if you even just acknowledge the problem, just tell me anything about this. Thank you in advance.

The screen shake is ridulous.

Server admins can spawn pre-tamed dragons of any level, as well as destroy wild dinos or only wild dragon species at once. It was a bit sad to lose old tames, but new ones look and act much better, especially in breath attack, swimming, grabbing. They only shall swim a bit slower, other than that - the most universal ARK mounts so far. P.S. My "regular" dragons (not hellkites) have the same level and stats, they resurrected themselves at Christmas day, and completely bug-free from that day.
