Easy but effective!
@sinon i guess you mean the notification when the storage of a factory is full and you cant handle that much goods - factory should also stop producing until your truck / train station is empty.
that problem doesnt come with the mod, its in the game. you will notice it more often with the mod because the factorys produce more goods
Yes, I noticed the same problem
Anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions?
that feature was removed from the game with the summer update, as i know.
So no fast growth boost anymore.
Thank you,
is this only on your oil-wells or does it also happen with other industries?
Question: the production of my oil-wells go up to 3200 indead, but the overview-panel of my industries still says 800...
It's cool to try and get it all shipped with seven platforms.
the production cant increase more as there is potential for it - thats game behavor. Only in the first time of an upgrade the production limit is high because it fills the internal storage of the factory. I tryed to balance the storeage in a good way, so its not over extended.
Maybe you should think about transporting more goods - as citys grow they need lots of goods.
So try expanding your capacitys :)
Basically, is it possible to just ONLY raise the production limit itself by having more upgrade levels?
i cant confirm that, it works as designed without crashing the game.
Maybe some other mod crashes your game?
I totally overlooked that mod. thanks
updated the mod for latest version of the game.
There should be no errors / conflicts at all.
@Nelso
You are right, it only shrinks the stocks to make them fit inside the industrymodel.
Next time i will overwrite only the specific fuction from scratch instead of just copying the complete file.
@Wallum Daffo
I had no problems with the value that is transfered from an industry to a station. You could consider getting the x4 loading speed addon.
If I may give some advice, never change or duplicate a huge file like constructionutil.lua, because it will break stuff in the future. Make a new lua file (I would call it z_production_increase.lua), copy in the one function you need to change (makeStocks), and require that new file from the .con files.
The file is in c:\steam\steamapps\workshop\content\446800\805203766\res\scripts\ - Once you delete that file the game will load again...
Good hotfix until the Author fixes it properly...
Screen 1 shows I only have this mod installed in the game

Screen 2 shows the error I get when I try to load the game

I managed to get one food factory supplying the entire map :)
Shipping container trains galore!
Very nice work. Thank you
@Baleur
Thats not true, i got the production over 9000 - try the mod it works.
If you want a faster growth try my secound mod or you will need a lot of ingame years to reach such limits.
I heard someone say on the forums that if ANY product/goods/resource reaches 4000 units on the map, anywhere on the map, in trains or in cargo stations or wherever, the industries will stop producing said thing.
Like a hardcoded limit on how many of one thing can exist on the map.
True or not? I hope not =)
