I didn't realize that you were the author of the Era and Religion mods that I've been using for a long time now, which also happen to be my more commonly used mods. Thank you for putting together these mods, I'm a huge fan.

Ah, ok problem solved. The cities are connected via free harbors rather then roads, but did not have majority followers. Spawned in some missionaries and the buff worked correctly, +2 each time I took back majority followers in that city. The tooptip led me to think the only prerequisite was a city connection, my mistake. Thank you and wonderful mod.

Hi coins, these buff arent has obvious has other one as it will only update your + to faith, no special message or bonus listed.

Also to work, both your capital and the city connected with a road must have a majority follower of Your religion. A connected cities is one that has the connection icon wich represent the old trade route symbols from G&K.

Hi there big fan of the mod, appreciate your time putting it together. Playing Dido, selected Traveler's Faith as a bonus belief but it is not applying the 2+ Faith buff to connected cities.
Haven't been able to find a fix yet, can you help?

I have all the mods downloaded and enabled and I play a single player game with them enabled but the mods dont work. I cant chose a religion and I cant figure out why. Can someone help me out here?

I cant prevent you from doing what you want on your own machine for your personal use of course.

I just dont want my works to be republished on Steam workshop or Civ fanatics or other mod sources.

@BlouBlou: If there were a way to use your mod with others that add beliefs, I'd go for a collection instead of a repack. The trouble is that I have three excellent belief-adding mods (including yours!), but only one of them can run at a time. So far, combining the three lists looks like the only way to make them compatible.

Of course, I still wouldn't want to hurt your feelings or devalue your work; my own latest project took nearly a month to code, debug, and find graphics for. Even though I'm less strict about others reusing my creations, I understand why you protect yours so intensely.

If worst comes to worst, I could create the repack *without* uploading it anywhere (as I once agreed to do for another user). Would you allow that, as long as my version never goes on a machine I don't own?

Hi Isnorden, i have to respecfully decline. Im strongly against the practice of repacking other peoples works. Modder should create their own work and refrain from just copy/pasting existing code, altering it a little, (or repacking) and then republish under theirs names. If a users want this content, i want him to subscribe to my mod. Creating these mods and supporting them took hundreds of hours, i dont want this work to be incorporated in another mod under another name.

I hope you understand. Anyway, instead of repacking 3-4 existing mods, Why dont you just create a public collection in steam named : "Grand Unified Beliefs Modpack" ? thats exactly why this functionality was made.

if its required it will say Required, I know its not the same, and its clearly stated on each mod description =)

Everyone mods in these collection have their own Compatibility Infos. Browse Each mod page and look for the "Compatibility" Section in the mod description to see if this mod requires an expansion or a DLC.

In all case, all theses mods are compatible with the latest expansion and DLC.

hi Luked, just realized steam has changed his user agreement and need it to be re-accepted by modders in order to re-make the mod public, i will do so rigth now, starting with the 2 mods you mentioned


try again in few minutes it should be ok.

Thanks BlouBlou but no, I'm not mistaken that message. R-EP and R-BEP I can't check and it says they are hidden by the author or I have not enough rights. When I previously wrote I was at work. Now at home it's the same error and I check logged in and not, also from the steam client browser with the same result.
Also thanks for the second answer, but it assumed that the mods are not hidden, right?

Hi luked, there is no hidden mod at all, you probably got mislead by the statement generated by steam in the description wich says "In X collection by bloublou AND OTHERS, some may be hiiden" wich mean some people made a personal collection for their personal uses. Dont worry all my collection and mods are public.

About your second question, clearing your cache wont cause any problem to any of your saved game, unless some mod have been updated since thge time you created your game and your re-download them. About your subscripton list, i must say the you need to resubscribe because it is part of the cache clearing process as described in the "troubleshooting" section of all my mods.

Is there a reason some of those mods are hidden? Should we expect an update or something.
Also, due to some problems I need to try clear my mod cache. I'm new to Civ5 mods so can you please tell me if those mods I downloaded and keep them subscribed even hidden will be ok after the clear of the cache and I can still use my saves which includes them?

as you said, there are other mods that do that, one is pretty good and is called historical religion i think, i persoinally use italong with my collection, dont worry its compatible.

Could you make a mod in this pack that adds more religon icons to the list of choices? I know there are other mods that do that but I was worried they might conflict with your collection. Its just an idea.

I like and subscribe to a lot of your mods, they are great!

hese are some constructive comment for a mini mod for celt, changing the behavior for holy site not to remove forest if definitly doable, im would be worried about visuals in that case, the game will handle holy site graphics on top of a forest?, adapt it? we will see, ill make some test.

Im also a little worried about balance here, since celt already are a very religous civ in the game, if you add the holy site bonus to the forest faith bonus, maybe this would be too strong?

Ill mess with these ideas a little and get back to ya. Thx for your suggestion!

In the problems with religion vein, I think I have a request for another religious problem fix, if at all possible. I was wondering how one might go about rectifying the fact that a holy site removes a forest? Especially since in many faiths, and given the Celts special ability, the holy site IS the forest. In special regards to the Celts, I also feel that a forest with a holy site should still count as "unimproved" for the purposes of the faith bonus, since a holy site disrupting the sanctity of an area is just silly, but I have a feeling that might be much more complicated, yes? Thanks!!

Hi abdul,

unfortunatly i dont think there is a way to rename pantheon in game, if its doable in a mod, (wich i doubt) its beyond my current skill (sorry!).

For compatibility, any mod that dont touch religion is compatible, also all my mods are modular, you can use them all or just some , they are all compatible togheter.
