hey, maybe you can change the animation. Try anotherone like knife or pen animation, i will more realistic cause chainsaws not swing in real life

Hi erveryone I created a complete new chainsaw mod.
Now you are able to fill your chainsaw to 100% fuel by context menu selection.
Also you are able to chop trees by right click on them just the same way you do with axes.
And last but not least I tried to get another option for the text messages, so I added a status window for your chainsaw.

Do you think it would be possible to have refill options, maybe ? Now it's only 10%, could you maybe add "Refill Half-Tank" and "Refill Full Tank" ? I wiped out all the trees around Muldraugh's North Farm with a friend to build our base in MP, and your mod made me win an unthinkable amount of time but....... I think my right click died in the process ! =-D

update: cut all spawn rates to 1/4 of what they were

yes lots of tree damage when running. avg tree goes down in 2 swings

Works. Sound and chainsaw model 37.14.

Downlaod at first doesn't work(steam warning window) and then dowload starts anyway. Confusing.

Does it work properly with 37.14 version of game?

@MoGatz You can change the spawn rate yourself. Go to Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/workshop/content/108600. Then find the folder that has mods/Chainsaw in it. Then open media/lua/server folders and you should see the file ChainSawLoading.lua. Open that file with Notepad ++ (download that program if you don't have it already, it's a must have) and edit the colored numbers to change the spawn rate. The lower the number, the more rare it will be to find.

well...i fixed the problem. i unistalled Project Zomboid, went to steam folder, went to common, deleted Project Zomboid folder. reinstalled it, and it worked. so now i see the model!

can i get a show of hands please. of who can see the chainsaw weapon model and who cannot. name the build your using as well please

i am using IWBUMS 35.24 Build and the chainsaw texture is not working. its just the sound and thats it.

Chainsaw is the most overrated movie type weapon imo.It would be useless as a weapon. As soon as it hit flesh it would get jammed by sinew and muscle.Same people that think chainsaws would be great weapons are the same people that believe ninja ran around in black throwing chinese stars, and were unstoppable action star killing machines.

Dude, why does not Indie Stone hire you? Your mods are great! Always adding more stuff and making PZ more fun.

So all i really now is to find that other old mod that had alternative starts and use the one that gives you the necronomicon and im all set! thanks

nolan change the animation seemed unreal because it was what I wanted to say but did not want to offend your work XD nice job!

update: I changed the swing animation to the same swing animation that the sledgehammer uses. Because well swinging a chainsaw like a baseball bat is kind of unrealistic unless you're he-man
