mansher all you gotta do is unpack the vpk file and delte the minigun file that replaces it its not that hard

@not_requested49 : The HUD cannot be dissociated from the Vanilla Models. There is a special texture in the Models (that are not in the Vanilla models) that make it work. However, a modder could release a version of this that includes the two small textures in the Vanilla models, and it would work.

i agree with the person below, if you have any time to, can you put in the HUD without the HD models? i actually liked vanilla but this provided a useful HUD, especially when using the minigun as you cant really tell when its almost fully overheated like you can with the .50 cal

You've put the mod without the HUD but not vice versa. I would like to have the HUD without the models

Is there a version without the thermometer? If you die on a minigun the thermometer stays there when you respawn and is super irritating

however though the 50 cal's thermometer doesnt actually change until it actually starts to overheat rather than give an estimate to when it will start to overheat, which was slightly dissapointing ngl but great mod nonetheless

@not_requested49 : Yes, the thermometer directly reads the value from the minigun itself. If you chan its cooldown time, it should change accordingly.

no i mean when you deliberately modify it urself, but i see that the minigun still adjusts accordingly

it used to have a thermometer? huh i wonder why it was removed lol, too bad im 99% sure this wont adjust when changing the mounted_gun cooldown time in the console.. but great mod nonetheless!

I dont use any other HUDs that i know of, I might go back and look at my addons to see if there is something ive forgotten about, Thanks for the feedback!

@Mordecai : Do you have any custom HUD mod installed ? That might be it, usually this is not compatible with other HUD mods. Also maybe you already had a replacement for it ?
If it works for one and not for the other it's not due to HUD issues, but more like model (or FOV?) issues.

The models for this are incredible they look amazing and fit very well with the game, the only issue with this mod is the new heat display on the hud, if is possible to split it off from this mod and make it a standalone feature or even have some other way of show casing that the weapon is about to overheat on the model itself somehow then it would be a even greater help.

If anyone is thinking of getting this mod, I would suggest to get it but if using a custom hud either disable it or remove the hud elements yourself so it does not conflict with your custom hud.

Can you make one with JUST the HD Machine Guns?

anyway the .50 cal HUD does not work properly when playing online, after the gun has heated up the countdown will always restart from 60s despite the gun actually cooling down.

is possible just want the hud of these guns , separate, because i conflicts with "serious sam minigun mod".
