Any chance to see a version of this that works with weaponcore? Just spawned in an old ship to edit and redesign and the turrets blow up.

So, which mouse button are you using when you are using the ship drills?

Right click removes stuff- but will give zero materials- stone, ores-etc.

Left click removes the stuff- but gives materials like stone, ores, etc. :)

It's not getting stone, ore, or ice other then tiny snippets, even if I put it up against the deposit

Don't the drills miss some stone or are they supposed to grab all of it?

I can give this one the same values as Vanilla and just a tiny bit more and go from there?

It's still clearing voxels, but otherwise I was barely getting any stone while digging completely through asteroids. I didn't check the other tools though, might be similar issues.

The vanilla still still works fine when I checked to see if that might be broken too

Why not limit the range of the Ore detector to 250 if its gonna overheat CPU's to point the rig resets, to protect the cpu.

If you go over the vanilla range they will stop working and become bugged out sadly. :(

ore detector doesn't seem to be working, any suggestions? If it does ever work, its only on the original load of the game and then any action seems to break it

I use those from your mod, most of the time and so far, my cpu's dont overheat, think its to do with i use over 15 fan's in my small case xD
I dont have a beast pc, just a old one

Yeah you can see the ores past 250 for an X amount of time, before your PCs CPU blows up from the heat.

The ore detectors are basically a memory leak block and the higher you go over 250 range, the more heat your CPU gets, because the range expands exponentially instead of linear.

The ore detectors are basically a silent CPU killer in the game, as I nearly found out the hard way with my beast PC.

i dont agree, well at least, the ore detecor i use from your mod and have the range at 800, i can see ore's more then 500 / 600 range, then the standard 250 your takling about

Beyond the vanilla detection range(250) I think, the game stops showing ores and there is no fix for that since Keen doesn't support the extreme ranges.

Good evening, i have to report a bug.
The mining radius of the drill is much too big, has the same size as the large block vanilla drill, which is quite large for the little thing.

Yeah that's a game bug with planets, also your ship might not have enough power to support the increasing power

yeah sometimes the range limit is locked I guess, and sometimes it isn't. That is very strange indeed.

Sorry, i don't know code or modding but the ore detector+ mod works out to 650 and now your ore detector has started working (i haven't changed anything at all just reloaded the game for like the 5th time) is now detecting some ore at 1.74km (i haven't moved the ship yet to see the limit)

Anything over the 250m cap in SE they won't work, Keen locked the max ranges to the large ship values.

ok sounds logical its got to check alot of voxals after all. i turned it down to 5k (i'm in space) still nothing showing up, is there like a "reboot" or anything needed? (i'v tried grinding down and rebuilding it)

Past a certain range they get buggy, but the code is the same for both packs :)

Hi there love your mods, just "upgraded" to this after having the separate mods for ore detectors etc but the ore detector now wont... well... detect? but the one from the dedicated ore detector mod did?
