Oh and i honestly have no idea what the magnitude of my request is since i would love to learn but dont know how to mod and redesign things but would it be hard to make a variant with a different shape ? Say cilyndrical maybe so you would have more surface area under it to build while maitaining certain equilibrium and would maybe need less of them to build sleek designs for smaller ships. Just a noob here spittballing some ideas, sorry if im being annoying x.D

Just stopped by to congratulate you on your awesome mod buddy! And to politely ask if you could make a small grid version so that i wouldnt need to have them in subgrids for smaller ship designs, pretty please !! Lol

OMG Thank you! gonna test the crap out of this.

Is there any way to make it so that inertial dampers don't try to shove me upward when using these cells?
NoQuiche 6 Nov, 2017 @ 7:09pm
Rejoice!

No more need for manual setting of these zeppelin cells!

I have produced a script specifically for this mod, which allows for automatic elevation adjustment: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1194059627
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 20 Oct, 2017 @ 3:43pm
well it is manual
manual draining of gas cells into hydrogen tanks and back :steammocking:
Nioreux 20 Oct, 2017 @ 3:34pm
so no manual elavation adjustment then?
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 20 Oct, 2017 @ 3:15pm
elevation is only controlled by mass vs force and fill amount
Nioreux 20 Oct, 2017 @ 1:00pm
@LookAtMyHorse I was using hydrogen thrusters but on a seperate hydrogen setup then the Zepplin gas cell also how do you control elavation?
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 20 Oct, 2017 @ 10:17am
1)do you use hydrogen thrusters to go forward?
2)physics are currently in close to death state in SE and are being worked on by keen
Nioreux 19 Oct, 2017 @ 6:15pm
when I go forwards I start to drop out of the sky

He's reduced it from 2.5mil units/litres to 38570 units/litres the way I understood it.
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 3 Jun, 2017 @ 1:02pm
i mean he answered you not what you asked him and not what i wanted to know
Ralathor 3 Jun, 2017 @ 12:44pm
1 unit per 1 litre. I suppose I answered that a bit ambigiously.
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 3 Jun, 2017 @ 10:11am
you worded your question poorly and got answer about nothing
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 3 Jun, 2017 @ 10:10am
then what do you want me to change if nothing is changed?
Ralathor 3 Jun, 2017 @ 9:22am
I asked the mod creator about it, and apparently it's a 1:1 ratio.
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 2 Jun, 2017 @ 11:48am
so he reduced the volume from 2.5mil units to 38,570 litres....
how many units are in the litre then
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 2 Jun, 2017 @ 11:46am
yeah, as usual after i tripplechecked and started talking about it, i found it
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 2 Jun, 2017 @ 11:45am
so what do you actually want? he didn't seem to touch hydrogen tanks
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 2 Jun, 2017 @ 10:30am
link?
Ralathor 2 Jun, 2017 @ 8:28am
Would it be possible to either get a verson of this that is ballanced with the AHI gas rebalance (realistic) or know if it would be possible to change some configs to do so myself?
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 25 Mar, 2017 @ 2:48am
fixed script
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 24 Jan, 2017 @ 11:29am
i did few more tests, chances bug is on my side, investigating possibilities
Yurand2000 24 Jan, 2017 @ 10:30am
is there a way you can "simulate" the missing air drag so it can stabilize faster?
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 22 Jan, 2017 @ 11:26pm
reason it takes considerably longer to stabilize is because there is no air drag
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 22 Jan, 2017 @ 11:21pm
what do you mean? it bounces up and down cause it's trying to stabilize the altitude and if it flies higher than it can consistently support it starts to descend. try ping pong ball under water, same is here
Paned 22 Jan, 2017 @ 2:54pm
Great Idea but does not work on SMP :( just bounces (filled 100%) up and down (compleatly to the ground and back up to 1,5km)
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 22 Jan, 2017 @ 12:55pm
yes only in creative
Airomis 22 Jan, 2017 @ 12:53pm
Is that only creative? I'm working on a pirate drone and I'm trying to test things
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 22 Jan, 2017 @ 12:50pm
so appears to be that it's a bug on keen's side
about the 50% thing though: creative now sets all tanks to 50% capacity and keeps them there
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 22 Jan, 2017 @ 12:09pm
i noticed that it won't lift unless there is an influx of hydrogen, as it will stop once it hits 100%, i have no idea why, need to look into the parameter i am grabbing and see why it is not working as it was before
Airomis 22 Jan, 2017 @ 12:06pm
Well both the normal one and this one will not fill over 50% I did notice this
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 22 Jan, 2017 @ 12:05pm
main is about 6mn this is about 200kn
something was broken between patch and hotfix so maybe they fiddled with something and it is weaker now but this one was able to lift a reactor last time i checked
Airomis 22 Jan, 2017 @ 11:54am
When you said weaker how much did you bring this down? It takes 5 balloons to lift an oxygen generator and a single battery
Paned 7 Jan, 2017 @ 2:06am
Sounds really cool :-) Great Idea!
