-- Maximum XP from combat vs barbarian/CS
UPDATE Defines SET Value = -1 WHERE Name = 'BARBARIAN_MAX_XP_VALUE';
UPDATE Defines SET Value = -1 WHERE Name = 'MINOR_MAX_XP_VALUE';
Glad to hear it ! :D
Try starting your new game from the MOD menu, NOT the single player menu. Use the MOD menu to load your game too when playing a modded game.
ALso, you can verify there if the mod appears in the list and is correctly installed. If thats not the case, try the troubleshooting section in the mod description.
Good Luck !
I think he agree that he is worth experience even if you killed other barbarian before him XD !
first of all i was not able to install it, like other mods. so i followed the steps in the troubleshootng section right above. After some tries i have now the mod listed in the game and i activated it.
As next step i started a new single player game. but the EXP stops growing after the unit got 30 of it.
Do u have further ideas, what i can do?
Am i doing something wrong? How can i fix this?
Glad you enjoy :)
Thats something you should ask the creator of the mod you are speaking of, since this one has only 1 line of code, not much lever here :)
Make sure you load your game from the MOD menu and not from the Single player menu.
If you did so, check that the effect is still in place instead of just checking the list
The mod cache of civ V always been very sensible, they made great progress but there is still few glitches.
Sometimes you just need to resub like you did, sometimes you need deep cache cleaning as mentionned in the troubleshooting section of the mod description.
Anyway, glad it works! :)
They were fresh new games. I unsubbed and resubbed to give it another try, started a fresh game and I've had no problems since. Weird
Did you start a fresh new game or you tried to add the mod and then load a save game that was started without it?
I will test with another mod here in workshop that does the same thing and see if problem persists in the other mod as well.
Achewivement are not triggered in any modded game. whatever mod you are using
The question doesn't really matter, it's strictly curiosity as it happenned twice in a row...
When you load a modded saved game, be sure to go through the mod menu to load it, not the singleplayer menu.
I'm playing two 'new to me' maps: British Islands and Bering's Strait. It seems the XP stops growing against barbs after 60/100. Does that ring a bell to you?
Thanks for your help - but I had no folder for Mods as shown in the troubleshooting.
But I got it instead, my mistake was not to use gameoverlay of Steam for downloading some Mods, so it didn´t work.
When I unsubscribed these Mods and downloaded them again by using the overlay, it worked fine.
