This little guy absolutely smashes everything I knew about mechs. It is perfectly, exactly what I was attempting to do.
Well.... Almost. The only thing different I was attempting to do is instead of have one weaponized, build a chassis to outfit for a variety of roles. This mech fulfills that role despite that by simply removing the gatlings and one rotor and pasting in a drill bit, or a welder, or a grinder.
Freaking great work. I'm going to modify these directly for my own use. It'll be the first ship of someone else's work that I'll actually be using with any regularity.

Any idea just how fast a mech you might be able to build, with enough work and cutting off all but necessities?
