Yes I still am, apologies. I have been dealing with personal issues which haven't allowed me to do HoI4 stuff in a little bit, but I'll be back to it within the next couple of weeks.
@jaymiemcgregor8 A tree review is in the works as well, might not make it in the next update as that one will involve some bug and cosmetic fixes. But it is in mind.
It is definitely a conflict between the two mods as I tested just the two of them together. Oddly enough, I'm pretty sure these two mods used to work together. The original Expanded Technology + Industry + Equipment mod is a part of Road to 56 but no longer maintained outside of that. Just thought I'd let you know this happened but I DO NOT EXPECT A FIX - thought it might help if others are trying to figure out a conflict. A bit bummed about it tho - two great mods and can only have one.
hopefully I am not the only one with the issue, someone else should test the mod and tell if there is any difference
It's likely Yumeido just forgot to update the info file that tells the game what version it is, but the mod itself is up to date.
But that's not relevant. The tech-tree was determined to be the way it is after careful consideration, to be as balanced in gameplay terms as possible while being as realistic as possible, given the limitations.
I am satisfied with it.
I will investigate the issue myself as well on an alternate machine to confirm the issue.
I am happy to bring you version 3.4.1 of Realistic Air Missions. As Aerodil said, I will be maintaining this mod going forward. I have updated this mod for 1.10.8 (Collie) and will be updating it for the No Step Back expansion as well.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I will also be monitoring the discussion boards such as suggestions and bug reports, so if you have anything you want to bring up, please post them there.
Have a great day/week/month,
Yumeido
Please welcome Yumeido as the new author of this mod. He will be maintaining and updating the mod, so that we can all enjoy it.
Oh and yeah, there's an update coming!
Which, I'm sad to say, has not happened since basically the year after the game's release.
But I can't bring myself to play this game anymore.
And I'm once again reminded how much air warfare sucks with the limitations it brings with it.
...
Might have to do that update after all.
I have had a few personal projects one of which I hoped to release was one where I combined this mod with Naval Rework Mod (with the author's permission) to my great delight. I'll give that to you too if I can find it somewhere. @Ron Swanson if you're still interested, this is your chance.
