Yeah, I have moved to WH2. I haven't touched WH1 in months. It's in my plans to port these heroes to Mortal Empires, but I want to make them actual agents this time.

It's updated for Warhammer 1. It hasn't been ported to WH2 yet though.

@largomark This appears to be a bug with the game's audio. When there are many races on the field, the sound cuts out after a while. If you only recruit him for Empire, the sound should be fine.

For some reason the I lose all in game sound whenever I have this unit in my army. Took him out and no issues. All in all is a good mod but the sound issue kills it for me.

is it possible to have him be simply a swift swordsman instead of doing a slow crush attack, for one he is weillding a sword; not a blunt weopon. lol and maybe a spell that creates tornados like golden axe 2😉

This unit is currently broken, it now has 100 men and over 500k hp. Although it is fun to mess with to destroy ENTIRE armies with just these bad bois. ;D But seriously can plz fix if you can? ;-; Too OP

I really like this mod - the game doesn't do good job (at all!) with the Norsca barbarians - they are just generic Chaos Warbands in the game, while Norsca are actually their own people and not all serve Chaos : /

Update: The Barbarian can now be recruited from all Taverns across the Empire. He is also available for Bretonnia, Bordeleaux, Carcassonne and The Southern Realms. Finally, I added more variations to his greatsword (taken from Foot Squires).

Hey Deco, I'm playing along with weapons and attack animations. How do I do it so that the barbarian will be holding ghal maraz instead of his sword? also I put karl franz animation on him but there seems to be some visual clipping of his shoulders when I did it? interesting to note though that putting karl franz animation gave him ghal maraz too.. except he keeps dropping his sword lol. as in youll see the sword constantly reappearing then dropping to the floor XD

Omg, you are a blessing to mankind! Thank you! I put my barbarian attack to 100, defence to 0, hp to 2000 but made his damage to 1000 with mega splash attack. A glass cannon destroyer XD

@Schoolgirl Thanks for your kind words! Open my mod in PFM, change what you want, save with another name (save as...) and upload to workshop. Keep my mod unchecked in mod manager. That's it. Just please don't make it public as it is for your personal use. :)

Hello Deco! First off, what an amazing mode you have made. Secondly, I've edited the stats of this unit with PFM but whenever I restart Warhammer, my edited stats revert back to the original stats you gave them. Any tips on what I should do so the stats I give them remain in place?

Ah i see. Im trying to start a small 'hero' mod of my own and its proving a nightmare. Was going to make them single model units but even that is too much for my mind to handle! Im not exactly a whiz with computers......

@matrdrake I haven't managed to make a custom hero complete with skill trees and equippable with items in the campaign. I've tried a few times, but it was too hard for me. I'm not an experienced modder afterall.

Making a custom unit takes me about 2-3 days including texturing and balance testing. The problem is I'm working everyday until late in the past few weeks, so I have very little time to mod.

I hope my Elf will be out by the end of the week though!
