Cool, man thanks after I'm finished with the version for my server i will make a public version. It will be called ultimate Syfy ore pack or collection or something like that. It will contain more then just your ore though, it will be a collation of all Syfy ore i find that the authors allow me to add. I may even make some of mine own to add. I always give the authors there rights and dues, Thank you for letting me add your mods.

With any of my mods, you can modify and reupload however you want. As you guessed, all I ask is that you link to the original in your description.

I will, i will probably fuse it all into one mod and i can fix anything that's broken. This is for my server only but i can make a public version and repost it if you like, and of course list you made it all and i just repacked and updated it.

For each mod the planet version only has ore on the planet so the asteroid version is for people who don't want the planet. Fardium is best when small but the rest are whatever feels right to you.

I suggest you test the mods before you put them on a server. There's been changes to the game since these were done and I'm not sure if they still work.

Also what size for the planets, there's no info for them anywhere.

I want to use all theses on my server or at least get ideas to make my own. Do they planet mods contain the asteroid definitions or do i need both mods for each ore.

CRAZY! I love it!

would you be willing to make an AIO mod and add them to asteroid generation?

It may be worth listing the recommended size of the planet. At 19km it seems fine. At 120km it does some -very- interesting things with the spiky ends of the planet.

It's called Large Solar Panels (+25%), the panels were lighting up like they were getting power, but the grid wasn't showing any intake. Oh okay so I did a new test, and I put a really tall pillar and put the solar panels on them, and the vanilla and moded panels worked. Originally I had them at base level but they were getting hit by the sun. Perhaps a mountain shadow or something was blocking it, not sure. Long story short, solar panels do work if you get them up high enough to clear the mountains a bit.

Solar wasn't working for me. Perhaps its because it was a modded solar panel ? I will try using vanilla solars and see if those work. But I will find the name of the mod and pass it along here so maybe you can get it compatible. Its a balanced solar mod, just adding various smaller and larger sizes. Thanks for getting back to me, I will try that, and I will also let you know the name of the mod.

You can always go with the solar and battery combo.

Yeah the clouds look cool though I like that, just thought there would be some form of atmo due to the clouds, but thats fine. And yeah I finally found some flat areas, I originally landed in the super spiky part of the planet so it was tough going for sure. But yeah, I like this planet, just curious about the lack of power generation options, is that a feature or a bug?

Update - So after dropping off my base building materials from the first trip, I came back with a large cargo full of ice. Instead of going to my base, I just scouted the planet I flew quite a ways around the planet and found a flatland and found some of the special ore in a surface rock. I'm guessing the lack of atmosphere thrusters is meant to be that way, but curious about the lack of power generation. I mean I have uranium I just like to have self sustaining bases.

The cloud layer is intended to be changed to look like electrical arcs later so the planet has a look of being in a constant electrical storm. The rigidity is made to look like a ferrofluid so the electric arcs, when added, should add to the electromagnetic thematic.

Not sure if its intended or its a bug, but it appears that there is atmosphere which rotates at a dizzy speed if you look up. That being said, Atmo Thrusters don't seem to work there. But also, I can't seem to get my solar or wind turbines to work either. This means only hydrogen to land and take off, and with no ice there, and how pointy the terrain is, its very very difficult to do much here. I don't mind the lack of ice, but not being able to generate power without uranium, and the very real lack of propulsion its one of the most challenging planets I have tried to do next to the high gravity of the alien planet. But at least I could build a rechargeable atmos vehicle to gather ore, here it seems it has to all be done by hand without multiple trips of bringing ice down to the moon. Regardless, really cool place, just wonder if the power and atmosphere is a bug?

Planet only?
TheSilverInfinity 30. aug. 2018 kl. 18:38
could you make Planet only versions?

@virman I replaced the whole series, they all had problems of some sort. Faradium was one with the fewest problems, but I still updated the whole mod.

Gyro performance should be identical to the previous version.
virman 3. jan. 2017 kl. 11:09
Why have you removed old mod - actually working gyros are gone.. ?
