So, is the number of tables/chairs/serving table matters?
The staffroom marked staff only, objects needed is there. I dont know what else can i do
Nice feeling, to have my inside pessimist so happily surprised, at last.
Great thanks again!
(Pessimistic me mumbles something like 'and see you soon", but, i told him to shut up.)
Anyway, this discussion can go on for hours, but let's not. This place should be for comments/requests for this mod only. Thanks for your support :)
Mimicry is fine its just using other people's work that breaks copyright (if the author does not care then there is no problem.)
It's the way Advanced Roads, TeslaMatic 2.0 and the Customizable Control Booths were born for example. Huge and much more difficult scripts, greatly improved, but based on the barebone of older mods. The latter wouldn't have existed without Sambot's Snitch Sorter and I'm very grateful for that, I learned a lot from it. If you dig deep into those three mods you might still find a few ancient lines of code from the original works, but with a completely new frame made around it.
Steam will then have to take down the mod, or lose their copyright safe harbor provision. The other modder can submit a counter-DMCA but will have to provide his address and name to do so. That's typically how it's handled. You have nothing to lose really.
Surprisingly, in my prison, amount of dirty trays picked up by guards and left in random places seems to be significantly lower with your fix than in vanilla game. If you say "no mod to fix that", probably it is just a side effect of overall "less mess": they tend to leave it in random places when their break time ends.
So, I guess, guards' tendence to randomly choose the more distant toilet, food, and so on, and to waste their time for long walks, is impossible to fix by any mod, too :(
I wrote at this guy's workshop something like "maybe try to remove collecting of dirty trays from guards' duties, and to leave the job for cooks", cause when staffroom is connected to kitchen in 'logistics', cook works in staffroom already, and guards' efforts make only mess.
Sorry for lame question, but maybe this is possible to fix by mod means?
How and where the guards/cooks travel with the trays is handled by the AI just like the rest of any object being carried in the prison. There is no mod fix possible for that.
Compared to the other guy's "fix", yours does not break the circulation of clean trays in the whole prison, as a side effect of increasing a bit the piles in staff canteens.
I can understand his motivation, but effect is a failure, and there is a better solution to clean trays' issue.
Correct me if I am wrong: did You fix guards' tendence to travel with dirty trays across the whole prison? (and they no longer carry them to so absurd places...) I am not sure, but the mess between my two canteens seems to be reduced.
Good job, again :)
I'll be back :)
You can just drop them in the storage or deliveries

I actually misunderstood this mod intentions, I do not need more staff food, I just need more trays to be in the Serving Table where the staff eats. I never run out of food, just trays. Thank you.
