You might want to check the comments on the UUS web page. That is why i don't use the UUS-mod.
Anyway, i hope my remark warns other users and gives them some tips how to work with this mod. ;)
(And if i had to pay for this i would not use this...)
By the way, This mod is free, I spent days to make it and share it without any extra demands. Any player should not do critique like you did. What a mod can archive is limited by what the game developpers opened to the mooders, and you may notice this mod was released one month after the game release and was not updated since a long time, so the mod was done in an early stage of discovering the modding possibility and limits of this game, what do you else expect? When I fully discovered the potential of this game two years later with much much more experiences , and you see there's ultimate undergrounds station and sadly you don't use it.
You might want to add this fact to the mods description as it was a surprise to me.
I have built the station in the centre of the city and now the centre is an empty hole after replacing the station. I am playing a free game, so i don't mind, but when i play a normal game, replacing this station wil be quite costly to delete all the roads and buildings. ;)
Just a 'warning' if you decide to use this mod. If possible, build this from the start with highspeed tracks. This will prevent you from what i had to do.
No game crash by the way ;)
How difficult would it be to have an underground tram station?

I like how the little slice of Road used for the subway entrance let's cars drive on it, but they seem to freak out a little as they cross it, LOL.

BTW, this is great mod. I really like what I do with it in the game. It must have been a lot of work and time creating it. Thanks again.
It will crash with "Terminals not properly connected!"
I tested further.
With 2 tracks and "Aways tracks in middle" set to NO - works
With 3 tracks and "Aways tracks in middle" set to NO - crash with "Terminals ..."
With 4 tracks and "Aways tracks in middle" set to NO - works
WIth 5 tracks and "Aways tracks in middle" set to NO - crash with "Terminals... "
