I was wondering if there could be an option to make the third angel and above drop a filigree feather? I feel like it would make it so it doesn't invalidate the trinket while also make it so you need to make a bigger effort of fighting in angel rooms (It delays the items by at least 1 angel room)

For those wondering about the error, you can either download the fix mod that someone else in the comments made, or go into this mod's main.lua file and comment out anything with "preSpawn" in it. All it does is change the appearance of the angel in certain circumstances, so it's an easy fix.

Could there be a version where the Feather will make the Angel drop 2 items instead of 1, with killing a Key-holding Angel also dropping 1 random item?

Hi! I just wanted to ask for one small thing, is there any chance you could add an option for the angels to drop an item from any item pool when killed instead of the angel pool or the current room pool? Because angel pool is overpowered, but the sacrafice room item pool isn't that interesting. So being able to pull from sacrafice, angel, treasure, boss, AND secret rooms both makes things more interesting and make the mod not too broken, since there'll still be a lotta bad items. Thanks!

Is it possible to include Devil Statues in this Mod (bomb to get an Item to a certain percentage) and/or make it compatible with the Devil Keys Mod?

Apparently there is an issue on line 324, it keeps telling me there is an error every time i enter the room that leads to the downpour.

I've created a new version of the mod that should fix the error you encountered when entering Alternate Path Exit Rooms. If the error triggers, you can also manually fix it by navigating to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\mods\angels-drop-items_840107435

Open the main.lua file with Notepad, locate the room type settings section, and add the following lines:

["ROOM_BLUE"] = 0, -- room blue?
["ROOM_SECRET_EXIT"] = 0, -- secret exit?

This will resolve the issue if you'd rather apply the fix yourself.
Alternatively, you can simply subscribe to the new version here, which already includes the fix.

i got the same error from an alt-path room except it was the room that takes you to alt mausoleum/gehenna on ascent run

I did some testing (spawning angel statues or gabriel / uriel in angel rooms and sac rooms) and looks like the percentage does nothing, it always spawns an item. also when you go to the room that leads to dross (alt-path, after the first boss, needs a key) the mod throws an error, says repentagon.

It would be cool if angels could drop a pedestal that cycled between an angel item and the key piece. kind of like an inbuilt filigree feather but you choose to buff your chance to get another angel room OR you take the spicy angel item

@snickfrompizzatower you only get items once you get both keys already.

Anyway, as some people have already there's issues with the mod that needs fixing (could probably benefit from being remade from scratch), but I'm mostly focusing on a bunch of other projects right.

This mod is ancient at this point and didn't have an update in ages... It really could use one, but I sadly don't have time (busy with other projects).

I don't think that the extra options setting about the drop chance is working correctly

From a Folio Dev, I picked up a mooded Item and my character suddenly bled pickups and trinkets.

@Hud honestly, I've thought of this mod when the angel deals were generally weaker, and I personally didn't see a reason to go for them. The mod wasn't really updated much since then, as I've focused on other stuff.

This would be nuts if it worked with devil statues also... Cuz the angel deals are so much better in comparison, that with that mod turns devil deals a litle bit useless. I tried the mod that adds dark keys but it breaks the game too much, since u HAVE to take devil deals in order to go and defeat satan in the down way
