i have used it but i think you should fix this as it sounds like an issue.

it works but only on entities that are constrained to each other, just spawing 2 props wont select both. this is intended for using with the stacker tool since it nocollides them
just like multi parent

they are and it only allows for one prop selected at a time i have them all welded and it doesnt work but ill look again
gamerpaddy  [author] 16 Aug, 2020 @ 3:01am
props must be connected in some way, nocollide, rope, weld whatever
Sanders 15 Aug, 2020 @ 4:16pm
Shift + leftclick doesnt work care to explain why?

cool addon :)

you know whats upsetting, years ago there was a hammer that allowed you to manually weld things together, by lining the two so that the nail would go through both objects. the model used for the "nail" was a Half-life 2 crossbow bolt.

Sadly the addon was removed by the author.

For all the brain dead people reading the comments, this tool makes persisting props easier. Persisting props is when you go to your context menu [c] right click a prop, and click make persistent, this makes it to where you cannot move or unfreeze the prop with the physgun, basically making it act as a static or worldprop (immovable object). This makes it easier to build because sometimes you might mis-click and move the wrong object or accidentally unfreezing a whole house thus fucking up your build. Thanks for reading and I hoped you learned something today.

fr. these 12 year olds dont understand what this tool is. nextbot collisions? wtf? and the dude informing the world that you can make things persistent with c.... what in the fuck...

anyway, solid tool, its incredibly helpful

So.. this tool means i can build something?
gamerpaddy  [author] 25 May, 2017 @ 8:26am
its not the purpose of it
Mutant Enderman 25 May, 2017 @ 7:19am
Can you make this tool disable nextbots collisions?
Benio 24 Jan, 2017 @ 11:08am
That sounds like a good point...
gamerpaddy  [author] 24 Jan, 2017 @ 10:54am
yes but not many props at once, for example if you spawn a house in duplicator that has 1000 pieces, you wouldnt want to apply it via context menu for each piece
UNLIMITEDGAYSWAG 23 Jan, 2017 @ 6:36am
you can make stuff persistent holding c than right clicking then clicking make persistant
Benio 18 Jan, 2017 @ 2:25pm
Huh...nifty. Thanks for the tip. {:)
gamerpaddy  [author] 18 Jan, 2017 @ 1:53pm
When you make something persistent, you cant pick it up with your physgun and cant unfreeze it anymore. this is useful when building houses or stuff that shouldnt move. so if you accidentally grab or unfreeze stuff, the persistent stuff keeps where it should be. if its allready unfreezed you just cant pick it up.

Makes me wonder; just what does it mean to make something "persistent" in gmod, anyway? I never understood that.
