The Resistance reinforcements would be better not showing up at all - they always spawn far from the extraction point, don't provide any serious firepower, and get absolutely wrecked by enemies dropping in. It's essentially trading 4 resistance members for a scientist.
If the resistance spawned very near the extraction point, they'd be helpful and wouldn't immediately die running across the map on their own.
My guess is not because of the wotc part.
Second question then, what would it take to get the wotc version of this to work with lwotc?
What should be done in it? I can not evacuate!
A timer is just huge on such a map!

It's for LW 2, pretty sure ABA 2 and LW 2 don't play nice together. RM has a WoTC version and a base game version of this mod.
I've only ever had that purple and green flickering on Gatecrasher. Exiting the game and restarting has always fixed it for me.
This is for LW 2.
Delete the base game INI files manually. Start the game using the Firaxis launcher, get to the main menu and they'll all be recreated.

In short I'm crashing the .exe after loading some missions, yet I've been able to do most mission types, so maybe it's map related I really don't know.. It seems totally random, too! I really want to be able to play again.

The evac zone activates the evac ability once it's deployed.
LW2 makes it so deployment is time delayed.
I have minimized it as much as I can (it should be auto-deployed on that mission type, so it'll use the shortest possible time when you want to place an evac zone since it thinks it's just re-deploying the evac zone), but I'm not going to try to completely rewrite how the evac zone function works to try to fix that one specific edge case, especially when it should just take some simple willpower to avoid abusing if you run into it.
They're for Warden armour and plasma weapons, IIRC. They're hidden by default so the Resistance max out at Predator and magnetic.
In case you want to abort, or relocate the evac zone ahead of time.
IIRC, you can adjust the number of Resistance operatives (rookies) who join you on these missions by editing this mod's INI file.
