This was the reference I was thinking of! And no worries, the mod is amazing in itself just that it exists! To polish up the models is just a bonus!
Yeah i bet, i really hope they open up more modding options. Seems like its possible to do some nice stuff but it requires quite a bit of work and effort, something like this should be really easy if you ask me.
Hey no worries, thanks for the mod. I was justr being nitpicky. :)
I'm not someone who usually dabbles in units, so that is something better suggested to other modders.
@Malanthor
What exactly is that referring to? It's not like we modders can change any of the voice acting.
As for the looks, those are difficult to get right due to a lack of modding resources and freedom and I didn't have much time to invest into this mod after its initial release to fix up stuff.
Either just delete all of the other stuff in those mods and save them as new files like !mod.pack or just make a new one, import the tables you modified via right click - add from pack and done. You now use them alongside the actual mods and they will overwrite those parts of them.
Just make sure that if you actually modified the original mod files and then put those modified tables into a different file, to delete the original ones so that the latest version and subsequent updates get downloaded.
Regarding the second paragraph instructions, I think even that's a bit too complex for me. It's probably better if I check for updates manually once in a while and see if I want to incorporate the later changes. The simpler and more minimal my own modding is, the less chance I will mess up the whole thing! ;)
You can actually create a submod that remains compatible with the mods you are editing (and thus doesn't prevent updates), simply by having those few modified tables in it with the exact same table names but a higher priority file name, like by adding a " ! " to the filename.
That way you only overwrite the content of those specific tables.
Just remove units from building_units_allowed and lords from faction_agent_permitted_subtypes and they should never appear in the campaign.
I tried. But I am not very technically proficient as a modder yet :( I am having the same issue with All Tabletop Lords.
That would be awesome!
I re-uploaded it now to get the outdated sign away, but it is unchanged from the last update.
However the new Legendary Hero system gives me a good way to recreate this mod without having duplicates of Gotrek and Felix running around, so once I get around to it, I will look into rebuilding the unit as a hero with the "Green Knight" system and some improved looks for Felix.
