Seems to work just fine in WoTC with the exception of not having an icon, just shows the default .img icon.
I know you are working hard on the mods, just wanted to know if this one was getting updated as well for WoTC?
By the "way they were" do you mean override LW 2's changes and revert their behaviour to that of the vanilla game?
Looking at the code I think changing that to False will mean that Stocks no longer provide Steady Weapon and rather revert to their missed shots do damage behaviour.
So it's a "Keep Steady Weapon Ability on Stocks" boolean.
But I could be wrong...
^ That's the behavior that is happening in game. It doesn't match the description you give of your mod at all. I don't see any evidence of stacking bonuses, just 2 separate abilities. LW2 changed the stock's description to say they give steady weapon, your mod changed the description back to say they do damage on miss except they don't. The description of your mod above doesn't match whats happening in my game, the comments below are confusing and don't really match the description above OR whats happening in my game. Are equipping stocks supposed to add a 2nd steady weapon ability so that I can choose between the modded one and the LW2 one? If so why are the descriptions wrong?
KeepSteady = true;
Ok so basically right now, the default behaviour for stocks is still LW's "stocks give steady weapon", it's just that earlier I had switched to "everybody has the +20 version by default, stocks give miss damage", some people just thought the alternative of being able to stack steady weapon aim was a better idea, so I switched the mechanics to that.
Then people with a stock get an additional option - if they Steady + Fire that's good, if they Move + Aim (endturn) + Steady + Fire next turn, that's really really good.
Guaranteed damage on a miss seemed a really odd mechanic, especially in LW2.
If accuracy does affect the scatter beyond that, it would be interesting to be able to confirm it.
