Is there a particular way to use the juice serving table? I have an orange tree and a juicer but the serving table stays out of stock. I also have like 10 vending staff that just stay in the vending storage room.

Just a heads up that this mod prevented any of my yards, common rooms etc from having a quality rating and appears to conflict with the game.

Btw, hope you're comfortable with the fact I am messing with the mod files rn... mostly to make it so that instead of oranges they are Junipers, instead of a Orange Juicer it is a Dystillery, and instead of Orange Juice it is Victory Gin, and now Alcohol is the Primary Need and Luxuries the Secondary Need. Just thought I needed that detail while running a Sector using the IngSoc Sector mod lmao (Also I'm having fun editing other people's mods to make sense with the 1984 ambient but I don't think I'll post any edits, so dw)

it should work, if it does not try giving the mod a higher position up the active mod lists. if that does not help another mod posibily is interfearing.

Status of Vending Machines 2.0 (under construction)

- All vending machines can be rotated;
- Updated Juice Serving Table and WaterCooler sprites to form 1 object;
- Added Soup, Prisoner Uniforms, Medicine vending machines;
- Changed the way how sold vending items are handled by the scripts;
- Supports many staff members from several mods;
- Staff members no longer have a floating vending item, but they hold it in the right hand;
- Added more sounds;
- New staffmember: Vending Manager, likes to hang out in Cold Storage room and takes care of refilling and repairing the machines, can also do some tree pruning;
- Added Cherry and Apple trees besides the Oranges, changed the scripts to produce some more fruit per tree;
- Changed the way how vending stock was scripted;
- Balanced vending profits: prisoners pay 1.25 per sold item, you make 0.25 profit per item;

- Merged the Prison Lottery mod:
- - When a staffmember wins the lottery he instantly resigns and leaves the map.

Prisoner uniforms and medicine vending machines already exist for a while in my combipack mod. They will be added to vending machines 2.0 as well.

I'm currently creating Vending Machines 2.0 as a follow up to this older mod:

- New vending machines can be rotated!
- I might merge the Prison Lottery mod, since it's using the same type of machine anyway
- Added Cherry and Apple trees besides the Orange Trees
- Aand who knows what else, it's under development.

Great work. i like all the little details you put into these mods i.e. that "out of stock" signs when the vending machines are empty.

I also subscribed to your recycling mod. they fit together perfektly.

The cold storage room is a good alternative to the vanilla storage room to seperate the ingredients from the other stuff

Nope, but placing matters. Not in hallways but in Yards and Canteens so they use them during yard and eat time.

@murgh - i mean that if i use other mods that mess with prisoners needs, could it cause prioners not to buy from vending machines? is there a log i can see for why they wont use it to settle luxuries?

This mod breaks due to its name... There are several mods called Vending machines and only the mods name is stored in preferences.txt SO if there are several mods with the same name, the file ID is not looked at and things go wonky.

So, what mod could cause them complain abut luxuries but not using the vending machines? my staff uses them from time to time but my prisoners don't although they have money...

Yes, I still see staff drinking juice and grabbing snacks, and prisoners buying lottery tickets and other vending items as well, so fortunatyly it's not broken by the update.
