I normally don't do unit mods, so I recommend that you ask someone else who specializes into that.

That was due to some incompatibility with other mods, which should now be fixed.

Just wanted to ask whether you're aware the unit's name and description is currently blank in-game (army customization, recruitment, pre-battle loading screen and during battle).
I find it a very amusing unit and would gladly make use of it, but its state is presently... imperfect.

You can't as they are powerful and rare units, so they have a limit.

Updated to work again.

Apparently CA found it necessary to update the name of the ability that this unit is based on for some obscure reason, which broke it.

would be nice if you can make the SQUIG GOBBA.
basically a giant squig that is chained down and spits other squigs.

and ofc the giant squig and other squig units would also be nice :)

I'm not quite sure what is broken about it as CA shouldn't have modified anything related to this. I'll look into it, but at the moment I'm too busy with some important bugfixes for my other mods.

This is a very powerful unit if used correctly, so the unit limit is a major balancing aspect to counteract this power. After all, it can do extremely high damage to especially low-mid tier armies, break formations easily and wiped out several units instantenously if used properly, so having full armies of these things running around and (and we know the AI loves doing unit clone armies) does not sound like something fun to me...

Great mod, it would be better if removed the unit recuitment cap on these squigs so players can have the option to use more kamikaze squigs on campaign map or Custom Battles (only been playin around on Custom battles with this mod have not tested it out on Campaign)

The squigs explode because of organic substances mixing together, not because of them being stuffed full with fireworks so that wouldn't make much sense. Also, CA made a specific explosion effect just for them so I'll rather leave it at that.

As for sound, as far as I know that can't be edited nor would I wanted to add sound from another game as that might cause copyright issues.

You should totally add fireworks shooting up from the squigs on explosion, maybe the grunt birthday party sound effect from halo. That would be hilarious!

Well they certainly look unfinished or at least like a very low-effort unit clone. Either way, now they are full units that add quite an interesting new aspect to fighting as greenskins.

Yeah, they're from one of the quest battles for Wurrzag I believe. Called Soopa Squigs or something like that :P

Well actually I just found out that that one is just one of the quest specific lords which you fight as Wood Elves, so that makes sense. I just don't quite see why they made him a special clone of the default lord, as there was apparently nothing special about him as far as I could see.

I only really saw one other so far, a Dwarf lord of some kind but that one only had the normal skills for now. It's not uncommon for many more units to be made than are actually released later on.

They would absolutely ride them to their dooms. It's basically the same principle as Fanatics: Give them a bunch of mushroom juice, and they'll do suicidal things that take out a ton of enemies.

Hell ya but could you remove the rider i feel like they wouldnt ride them into battle but instead unleash them or give them a few who ride sqigs and dont explode. Just like the couple guys who run around with the war dogs in rome 2 Tw
