Good to know that there's no issues for you, GigaBowserX. I'm happy that you like the map. I am hoping sometime to do a more original map. I already have something in mind, just need the time to do it.

Even after removing the map from cache and deleting the map and resubbing to the map? Don't know if you have done it, but sometimes steam doesn't update the maps correctly.

Sorry super late response, but I don't seem to have that problem even after reinstalling the game and downloading the maps fresh from the workshop. Maybe you're using an older version and need to refresh your cache of the map? But I'll still do more testing just in case.

So far good map, however I have 2 issues. First, the names of the two biohazard maps confused me at first and lead me to believe that "KF-Biohazard Remade" would be a more updated version of "KF-Biohazard" because it was "Remade". Secondly, when I played this map with some friends, the trucks at spawn were all blue and white. Not game-breaking or anything, just a little strange.

Sorry R.G. I'm putting the map on the backburner for now. From my knowledge of this I can transfer some things like objects, but the terrain is giving me a lot of problems so it isn't turning out right. I will let you know if I ever figure out a solution for it, but for now I have no clue how to get it working correctly. :(

I can't make any promises, but I will try to make it. Flat maps are easy but since this uses terrain data it can take me quite a bit longer due to me having to learn how to convert it over. From the vidoes I have watched for converting to unreal 4(which I am hoping is the same process) I have to convert the terrain into a .obj mesh model and then use a seperate program to seperate the pieces and then again convert it to terrain for the new engine, in this case it will be going from unreal 2.5 to unreal 3. I really don't want to make the terrain from scratch and it probably wouldn't look right if I did so(because I am a Noob xD). So I will see what I can do.

Oh okay. :o I will look into it, and possibly work on it in my down time if I think I can do it okay. I have been streaming the Resident Evil games on Twitch for the last couple of days, so that is taking up quite a bit of my time for now.

Zed spawns are way too slow IMO. Doesn't give off that intense vibe as it did in the first game. Other aspects of the map are great though.

Bad news for the Bedlam map, I lost it and my backup of it due to hard drive failures, litterally lost 2 drives at once. >.<
I don't really feel like doing it over again, so I am just going to pass on doing the map for now. Sorry to anyone looking forward to it, I just don't feel like going through all of that work again...

Yeah, I haven't had issues with that. Just need to finish placing everything down, get lighting done and then work on spawn volumes and restricted player/monster areas. I have been working on the outside lights but they are not so easy to setup right so they might look a bit different than they were in the original map, but I hope it will look better. I sort of hate how big the map is, making bug searching not that easy to do just means it takes more time to do I suppose. lol

One update for you about Wyre not really a good one, and am sorry I knew this for a little while and just haven't got around to typing it.

I am unable to transfer the geometry over to KF2 because I don't see a possible way that I know of how to transfer it between engines and on top of that I don't know how to do geometry at all and/or at the moment feel up for learning how to so. So with Wyre if someone else will do the map I would be appreciative about that.

Sorry if I let anyone down on this, I promise to be more timely with saying things like this in the future.

I have decided to split my time working on both maps at the same time so it will push back the release of Bedlam, but in turn I can release Wyre sooner. Mainly wanting to work on it this way becuase it will make me bored less often. xD
So no ETA yet for both maps, but I will let you know where everything is at if you need to talk to me directly either message me on here or send me a friend invite and message me directly if you want to find out the progress.

Should be a couple days to a week out to be at the alpha portion of Bedlam done, after that I can look into Wyre. Since that is when everything should start slowing down with making that map, still would need a lot of work of course but at least all of the preperations will be done for the next updates that will be mainly focused on objects and tweaks.

True to the original sounds great to me! I was thinking, you said you were working already on Bedlam- I'm sure if you put out a Bedlam map it would be particularly popular with October fast approaching. If you wanted to decide which of the wyre or h.horrors to go with 'after' you're finished with Bedlam that'd be fine by me- I'm just happy you're willing to look into doing one of the other two maps at some point, I'm patient tho! :)

I agree on your statement, they just need to added a typed section or a check box for what section they should be in in the modders program and that would perfectly suffice.

Oh, alright. I can still look into making Wyre if you like. It would be more true to the original if I decide that is the one I want to go with in the end.

That's not very helpful for players trying to find maps. It also doesn't help modders get more exposure for their maps. I'm willing to bet many other non-modder players don't know this and are missing out on some good maps due to it. I wish I could mod, but I only have time to play OR mod, so the choice was simple for me :) Thanks for the information.

This is the page if you are having trouble finding it: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=896601070 Maps don't show up in the maps section by default have to upload them with very specific preferences with a seperate steam command prompt/terminal program outside of what they give you to work on the map and upload it initially. So a lot of maps probably won't show up in the maps section.

I was working on bedlam; I didn't progress much in it yet, so I can look into other maps at the same time. It seems Wyre already exists on KF2(haven't tried it yet personally) but I can at least look into Hospital Horrors for you.
