@gizmo you may need to update Whiplash's subgrid thruster script. I just found this blueprint and it looks amazing. I'll check it out this weekend.

the thing should still fly but doesnt and it seems like something is trying to have the atmo for flying at 1-2kt

well for starters its 5 years old, relies on scripts and tight collisions
it probably doesnt fly anymore

Wow, very innovative way of providing thrust in all directions without placing too many thrusters. As a new player this is very inspiring :)

it would probably need updated offsets and a new thrust script, maybe even vector thrust 2,

pretty simple, build two rotors facing each other with 3 blocks in between
remove one of the rotor heads
add blocks in the 3 wide gap and put a rotorhead on the middle grid, press attach on the detached rotor. oh, and remember to put 0.008 as offset on both

Lord Clang blows it up every time I paste it... I always use DEV, so that's not it... I do have the Unofficial Space Engineers Patch, so that might be an issue...

possible sources for that problem:
1: pasted to near to the ground. (stuck in voxels)
2: Dev/Stable problems

Yup, pasted in as a blueprint on Stable and all blocks are merged together. rear door doesn't open and cannot fly. Tried converting to a ship, still nothing.

multigrids were never a thing in survival with a projector

The Blueprint is not working in Survival you only get a Message "This Blueprint was created in a Developer Version of the game and will cause some issues". Then the Engines and all movable parts disappear.

@Drek it's not from halo, i did not play any major sci-fi games, exept late 90s star wars games
@Daft Eagle steering depends on the thruster status. if they point down you steer like a helicopter with spacebar, if they point backwards you steer with 'W'
@YMHUK they are AI controlled. if you wish to control them you have to activate the weapon systems with the timer first and then take control of the gatling turret

nope small grid can't be pressurized. but there's an oxygen generator in the passenger area, from which you can refill bottles

they are supposed to sink in a bit. everything else are planet related issues
