I started playing Skyrim months ago on my PS3 and when I got the Skeleton Key it was one of my favorite game items. I started playing on the pc and this was one of the first mods I subscribed to. In addition to getting this item in the chest as specified, I noticed certain merchants also sell them now. Great mod!

with the character i have now i dont plan on joining the theives guild but this item is still a must have thanks doode have a great halloween (doode is purposeful whether you are a doode or not)

@aroundthefur79 This mod makes a copy of the Skeleton Key and relocates it to a new location so you can pick it up without the need to do any missions to get it. plus as a bonus if you have lost or lose the Skeleton Key you can now use any Smelter to make a new one.

until i upgrade this mod you will still need to enter the command player.addperk 10F13F just to make it unbreakable.

Can't you just use to CC to get the skeleton Key back (after the Twilight Sepulchar mission) and then just use the CC player.addperk to get it to not break ??? or is that what this mod does ?

i had skeleton key but i tried 3 times and on the third try it worked. i guess my typing format was wrong.

@Don-Patch you my need to pickup the Skeleton Key before typing in the command, let me know if that worked for you.

@Lord BoooG well now I don't see how you consider using the Skeleton key as cheating. After all you still have to pick the lock for the most part till you get your skill up. Only think is you don't have to keep buying picks.

That will make the Skeleton Key never break.

@redneck1st Thanks for staying with my mod all this time. i'm working on a new update for this mod. I've just been so busy making my own games. I will look into adding my Mods to nexus when i put out the new update for it.

I'm still blowen away by how many awesome people are Current Subscribers to my mod almost hitting the 3,000 mark.

Any chance of your posting this on the nexus with a link to it here? After all that 50 cap limit is brutal.

What fake is that, 1000 gold for nothing ?? It just replace classic lockpick and is stil breakable.

Mod works great for me, awesome job! It always bothered me that we recieved a skeleton key in Oblivion from Nocturnal but not in Skyrim.

@ bloewen Have you made sure the mod has been enabled? and if it is and the chest still isn't showing up, then find a Smelter and see if you can craft one, you will only need to make one, costs 1,000 gold coins. and plz let me know if it is still not working for you and/or if you did get it working after all. @ code Mercer must have had one of these to get into Snow Veil Sanctum when He ATTEMPTED to Kill Karliah and our PC's....again I say most handy gadger & thumbs WAY UP!!
