Worked well throughout LW2 campaign.
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 20 Nov, 2018 @ 8:16am
Ah, now I know what towers people mean :D

Those are placed by the game, normaly. I have no PCP where I put them down manually.
The game checks for a place and if it's empty it just rng's them into that spot.
I wouldn't even know how and where to look on how to fix, since back in the days when I made this mod I never ran into "floating hackable advent towers".

My only guess would be to record every incident where this happens. Then somehow make a matrix to see if it's PCP or Mission related. Check on what PCPs, Missions and Bioms this happens.
Agrippa HX 19 Nov, 2018 @ 6:18pm
I don't know if its this mod, but I suspect some mod is responsible for these floating ADVENT surveillance towers I've started seeing:

@Lamen the Mildly Insane not as far as I know. Because all PCP's are named with my own naming sheme. Furthermore I do not use any content, thats not part of the vanilla XCOM 2.

Bugs and Error's can always happen. Afterall, you are playing XCOM.
[95th] Phantom Civet 18 Mar, 2018 @ 7:58pm
question. does this conflict with any other map mods?
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 5 Sep, 2017 @ 6:35am
That small update was about fixing some minor mistakes in my PCP's that I found while rebuilding them for my WotC version.

After a full weekend of work, I'm surrendering to that bug infested DLC.

Take that DLC with a grain of salt, as it can toss you planty of bugs, if you are not carefull.
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 3 Sep, 2017 @ 7:01am
Uh, that one is nice :D
Timbermaw 2 Sep, 2017 @ 6:26pm
Okay i found out the console command: X2DebugMap. Also found your twn narrow map, coincidentally :p
Timbermaw 1 Sep, 2017 @ 11:37am
Lol okay. Was just wondering, thank you!
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 1 Sep, 2017 @ 11:28am
@Timbermaw I don't know of any way other then... well knowing that if it looks good, it must be my PCP :P Sadly, I don't have a picture of every single PCP. I stoped doing it a long time ago. As that took time, and I decided to rather spent that time making more PCP :)

Perhaps somebody else has an idea?
Timbermaw 1 Sep, 2017 @ 9:38am
Hi, I just asked this in MMP as well: is there a way to check which mod a plot or parcel or pcp comes from in-game, other than looking at the pictures?
Dragon32 30 Aug, 2017 @ 1:11pm
Bloody hell, that was fast. Thanks, Doctor Mandarb!
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 12:19pm
It is done. You can find the Map Pack for War of the Chosen right here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1124050097
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 1:43pm
@ 「死の火」 Yamino Takamaru yeah don't worry. This will be a new Mod :D I'll just post here for now, since I've not uploaded the new mod to the workshop yet.

Well, as it's 10:40 pm here and some people need to get up at 5:15 am I'll retire to bed.
I've managed to do 223 PCP's. Just 777 more to go :D I'll see how far I get tomorrow.

Wish you all a good night. I'll post more updates tomorrow.
Kaldin 29 Aug, 2017 @ 1:21pm
@Dragon32 & Black Raven: Whooops, my fault. Glanced over the comments again to check if he had said something along those lines already, but seems I missed it. My fault. Thanks guys. And as you say, Black Raven, I hope every modder does the same, wether they want to or not... :x ...just so that the non-WotC-compatability doesn't have to become a Lost. :x
Dragon32 29 Aug, 2017 @ 1:17pm
@死の火」 Yamino Takamaru:
Think that's the plan (based on Doc's post of ~9 hours ago).
Black Raven 29 Aug, 2017 @ 1:16pm
@Yamino he already said he was going to do separate WotC pack, think every modder will need to do same sadly, workshop going to need a separate WotC tag
Kaldin 29 Aug, 2017 @ 1:09pm
@Doctor Madarb: One request with that: Could you upload the WotC-fixed one as a new mod? Since doing that would likely break this mod for people that don't use WotC (yet). Either way, always great to see modders that are updating their mods. :47_thumb_up:
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 1:01pm
Haha you guys... good and bad news :D

The good news first.... I got my mod to run under "War of the Chosen"
Now the bad news ... some PCP don't show all the content, sometimes flooting cars that belong onto a truck trailer.

What does it mean?

Well, I don't want to release a version that potentialy has 25% to 75% of the content being invisible. So I'll go over every PCP and load it into the new WotC Editor, have it build and then save it.

I'm sure we will all be much happier if the mod doesn't bring you more bugs then it needs to :D

Stay tuned for more updates!

@Doctor Mandarb:
Don't forget to eat!
Blade45 29 Aug, 2017 @ 11:45am
Look forward to seeing this updated! Thanks for taking time out of your work day to try and figure this out!
Black Raven 29 Aug, 2017 @ 4:00am
Awsome to hear, big thumbs up for your hard work
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 3:55am
Okay, I just saw that I need to download XCOM 2 War of the Chosen Development Tools, so this MOD here will stay for the Base Game, and I'll release a twin copy that will ONLY work on War of the Chosen.

There will also be a new Map Pack that Only includes War of the Chosen PCP's etc. Stay tuned.. as I'm currently at work and just used my lunch hour to figure stuff out :D
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 3:25am
THIS Mod might not work under "War of the Chosen"! As the new DLC comes with a huge change to file and folder structure and brings it's own set's of INI files, I'd be carefull to use it, or any other mod! I'll see what I can do, to make the map running under "War of the Chosem" and "XCOM 2" or publish an extra Version. Stay tuned!
Black Raven 29 Aug, 2017 @ 2:58am
will this work with WotC, as apparently it broke most mods
Tarsis 16 Aug, 2017 @ 3:02pm
I'm getting some (not always) nice surprises in my current LW2 campaign with all these new map chunks. New places to see goes a long way,

@Stew Cyberdisk in the orchard
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 16 Aug, 2017 @ 8:37am
@Greslin well I'm sure to blame for those awesome overpass maps... not sure about tunnels and caves. But stealth in XCOM is never easy, I always get anoyed by the drones :D They spot you from miles away and have a great tendency to flank soldiers and reveal them.

I still hope you enjoy the challenge the game brings with my 1000 extra PCP. Besides knowing most of the houses by memory the roads and fields and woods should keep you on your toes. As it's so much more variety :D

If you truly want to enjoy tunnels, wait till the new DLC comes out. I'll be hot on it's heels to start bringing my War of the Chosen Map Pack out. I'm sure XCOM will come in good old fashioned 2 version per map PCP. And we can't have that now, can we?
Greslin 15 Aug, 2017 @ 2:09pm
Is it you or eclipsezr who are responsible for these new caves, overpasses and tunnels? They're screwing up my nice easy stealth missions! :)

Last couple of days I've been running into new maps with these highway overpasses, I go sneaking up the steps and BOOM, civvies screaming like they've never seen an armed insurrectionist before. And then we're off to the races.

Seriously, you guys are for real complicating my formerly fish-in-barrel LW2 intel missions.
TSM [EGC] 12 Aug, 2017 @ 11:57am
@solon that last floater enemy always in the loft behind the bales, Enemy Unknown classic :)
Tarsis 12 Aug, 2017 @ 7:37am
@Haywire Yes, that exactly!

@Doctor Mandarb I'd say take your well deserved time to play, I'm ejoying the map stuff, I'll have plenty to enjoy, thanks!
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 12 Aug, 2017 @ 5:16am
In case you are wondering what the latest update was all about... I made some extra PCP to bring the number up to 1000 !
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 11 Aug, 2017 @ 11:28pm
Haha, yeah good old days :D

Currently, I'm enjoying some time off so I can play and chill... with the new DLC comming up soon there will be many new PCP's comming to you. BUT that will be a War of the Chosen - Map Pack.

That Farm Mod is not dead, but currently pushed back.
Haywire 11 Aug, 2017 @ 6:22pm
@Solon2233 Especially those night missions where you were throwing out light beacons every which way. Yeah those dark barns sucked. lol
Tarsis 9 Aug, 2017 @ 6:01am
@Doctor Mandarb You said farm map mod and I instantly went back to my college days fighting sectoids in X-COM UFO Defense on those old farm maps... the horror... oh the horror..
insanem0th 1 Aug, 2017 @ 2:57pm
Just had some of those trains WOW! Amazing stuff really adds a lot of spice to those maps loving it.
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 1 Aug, 2017 @ 9:06am
Thanks. I belive it's the biggest Map Mod you can find for XCOM 2.
I could be wrong, who knows :D
Dragon32 31 Jul, 2017 @ 10:57am
Congratulations on finishing such a mammoth undertaking, Doctor Mandarb.
TSM [EGC] 31 Jul, 2017 @ 10:14am
this map pack making the game a lot more interesting thanks for making it :)
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 28 Jul, 2017 @ 7:11am
And here it is, the last big update bringing you new PCP's in this map pack. From here one, let's find bugs and mistakes that have escaped me untill now.

How many PCP's are in this map pack? Well, it's about 978 PCP + 8 Parcel. As I'm writing this, I'm thinking to myself... "Mh, I should make 22 extra PCP, just so it's a round number :D

Have fun with those new trians :D I'm sure you'll love them!

What will come next?

In terms of this map pack, a few more parcels (houses) will follow. As said above, perhaps I find some 22 extra PCP to round that number up to a 1000 PCP.

I'm also planing on bringing you a farm map mod. I'll see if I can recreate some of XCOM's most beloved historic maps. And I speak about XCOM UFO Defense. We will see how this project goes.
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 27 Jul, 2017 @ 8:00am
Thanks @Derr Hans !!! Yeah I've been busy and I'm glad you found your way back to XCOM 2.

I'm also hyped for War of the Chosen, specially because it will bring us more PCP's that I can change around :D
Derr Hans 27 Jul, 2017 @ 4:42am
Everytime i watch the Doc's stream playing XCom you go like..
Hey i recognise this PCB, that's mine.

Now i know why you recognise so many PCB's, you really been busy haven't looked at the change log for a while and as you noticed i slowly got back to the game cause of War of the Chosen DLC hype train im on. I'm looking forward to see all these new PCB's and the new ones i know you plan to make.

Keep it up Doc and i'll see you online !
SolarNougat 25 Jul, 2017 @ 11:50pm
Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation. Looking forward to the Rooftop/Train PCP update, by the way.
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 25 Jul, 2017 @ 11:01pm
Rooftop PCP are done. But I'm going to release them together with the Train PCP. Sorry you will need to wait a day or two :D
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 25 Jul, 2017 @ 10:56pm
@Cosmic Lollipop no you missunderstood. And I've added more Q&A to my discription.

But to answer you: First remember that PCP and Parcel are 2 different Map parts. Eclipsezr has his focus on Parcels (buildings, and those bigger things) while my focus is mainly on PCP (roads, connectors, rivers, etc).

There comes a time when we (modders) stroll into other areas to. Thats why I've got some parcels within my map pack as well. They came up because of necessary. Still I only aranged some outside stuff to make them houses look diferent.

Eclipsezr however changes way more on his parcel mod, and even builds complet new stuff. He also tried his hand in modding some PCP but realized that they don't fit into his style.

Before tossing them into the trash can because he didn't want to use them, and they were just some experiments, he handed them over to me.

THERE will be no conflicts between his or my mod, and if you want his parcels (houses) you need to subscribe to him.
SolarNougat 25 Jul, 2017 @ 10:04pm
"He gave them (PCPs) to me to incorporate them into my map pack. They had some minor cover bugs. So I fixed them up and added them."

Does this mean that if I subscribe to this mod, I don't have to use Parcel Maps EC, or even remove it entirely to avoid conflicts?
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 24 Jul, 2017 @ 9:59am
Thanks :D
Dragon32 23 Jul, 2017 @ 2:30pm
@Doctor Mandarb:
I've finished the Wilderness PCP's today!
Congratulations! This is an astounding piece of work. Thanks (again) for everything you've done here.
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 23 Jul, 2017 @ 8:38am
@pintocat I'm glad to hear the crashed transport fit into the mission so well :)

On a Note for everybody, I've finished the Wilderness PCP's today!

That means I'm close to finishing the PCP part of my project. There is only the Network Tower Rooftops and some Train(Station) PCP's left.

Will I work on parcels? Yes, I will add some more parcels fitting the rest of the style. But my parcel work will focus on the details and interior. There are more skilled people who know how to build walls and new buildings :D
pintocat 23 Jul, 2017 @ 5:47am
I saw the crashes advent transport on the river of a retaliation mission :) Really made it feel like the rebels put up a fight til I got there!
Doctor Mandarb  [author] 21 Jul, 2017 @ 6:58am
Done with arid rivers. I also included "Tags: Map" but lets see if it does help with anything :D
