For anyone wanting a skybox that works with the new weather system I can say this one definitely works. Some skyboxs stop the weather system from working.

@Godrich 1. IDK anymore 2. The sun is seperate from the skybox and would not be affected by it

Is this compatible with speed mods? does it support sun rotation?

Best skybox ever seen / played with.

There are far more stars for me now than there are in your pictures.

Oh, that's not what I was saying. The other day there were like 80% less stars than there are now. It might have something to do with my graphics settings reverting or something.

@Lt.Starbound I did not add any new stars, I simply made the skybox darker.

Did you just update the skybox, because all of the sudden there are exponentially more stars.

I absolutely adore the deep blue colour of this, and the reflections of it off everything on my moon base are just beautiful. I often catch the reflection of the sky in my helmet, and I can't help but just look around at it for a few seconds.
In the night, the moon's surface it lightly lit by the blue glow of the cosmos, and it looks amazing!
The developers didn't make a bad skybox, it just needed a little nudge in the right direction.

I can safely say that the screenshots do not capture the deep richness of the blue. Seriously, I can't overstate how beautiful that blue is, especially when it shines off things like bare metal scaffolding!

Way better mood then vanilla, As a side effect its easier to spot stuff in the distance if lit by the sun.

Nice work, much better now, but if you also patch those ugly edges/transition zones, I'll be super happy :P

Trying this out in combination with (DEV) M-type sun (3320K) - Betelgeuse (cold zone) and it's awesome :steamhappy:

Thank you! I like the new skybox, but it's WAY to bright!
