Thanks for the mod! Is it compatible with LWotC?
Aoykav 8 Apr, 2021 @ 12:12am
That took soooo long to track down. I've never played bo3 multiplayer so I didn't know where to look. Now you guys won't have to spend the roughly three hours I did finding it from scratch. :) Enjoy my Friends

The helmet in the screenshots is the call of duty Black ops 3 immortal helmet

It was indeed Dor's Titanfall Gear, I found it yesterday, strangely enough it doesn't show up if you search for Titanfall even though there is a WoTC version.
CodyProductions 6 Nov, 2018 @ 5:33pm
It'd be nice if the author could make his OWN armor and have it work like a spark, and have their own customizations, cept of course it's only on the surface level, you can still use your own voice packs and stuff.
CodyProductions 6 Nov, 2018 @ 5:31pm
I'm too lazy to link so I hope you guys aren't too lazy to search.
CodyProductions 6 Nov, 2018 @ 5:31pm
Guys I had just found out the armor he used.
It's in the Titanfall pack.
handsomegrape 2 Nov, 2018 @ 11:51am
The legs and arms used in these thumbnails, does anyone know what cosmetic pack they're from? Has it been removed?
Z3R0 4 Dec, 2017 @ 9:28pm
any way you could tell me what mods you used for cosmetics?
Xerxes 17 Oct, 2017 @ 10:20am
I'm pretty sure fixer become unable to hack from standing distance as soon as you unlock haywire protocol on corporal level, must be some funky interaction with gremlins.
montythepythn 16 Sep, 2017 @ 3:35pm
can they move and shoot or not?

@Alterd-Rushnano

Looking forward to a WotC patch when it comes out, Fixer was one of my favorites.

To balance things, if damaged, lvl 1 only needs regular healing after a mission. Someone between Winter Soldier and Jensen would need healing, and then repairs. With Jensen needing more repairs. Someone at The Major's lvl would only need repairs, but wouldn't be able to be psi Op. (or any other class that needs psi stat.)
mynameactually 5 Sep, 2017 @ 9:10pm
While someone who goes for full cyberization (think Major from GitS.) would be able to have upgrades for each leg/arm/etc. plus be fully immune to psionics that panic/etc. and poison and bleed. While someone like Adam Jensen (who still has a good couple of standard human parts) would need to waste upgrade parts on upgrades to negate the effects that someone like the Major would have. But someone of Jensen's level would still be applicable to be a psi soldier. Between lvl 1 and Jensen lvl, would be someone like Winter Soldier, who is still mostly human, but has one or two major enhancements.
mynameactually 5 Sep, 2017 @ 9:10pm
The level of base upgrade can be either done either piecemeal or all together. But each level you go up, there is no going back. For example, lvl 1 minor cybernetic enchantments would have the least amount of upgrades/least powerful upgrades. They would have little to no drawbacks. An example of such an upgrade would be like a "neural adapter port" which allows for an additional PCS chip to be installed that adds half the pcs chip bonus. Adding or changing this chip would not cost any time out for surgery. The total amount of upgrade hardpoints available would depend on the lvl of base enhancement. Like lvl 1 could have 2 or 3. I do hope this is updated soon. Motoko Kusanagi was one of my MVP soldiers. Oh, just had an idea. What if a cyborg soldier is less of a unit that is it's own class, and more of another class that gets upgraded with cybernetic enhancements? You'd put them into the workshop. (Or maybe laboratory. Give people more reason to buy one.) and give them a level of upgrades. (…more)

@Horobi
Please wait a minute. I am going to come back with a new version of 'Cyborg Warrior (Close Combat)'. And I'm trying to overcome situations where reaper and Fixer overlap too much concept.
Horobi 4 Sep, 2017 @ 1:04am
Please update for WotC!
RemTM 25 Aug, 2017 @ 5:27am
@Zyrrashijn After literally trying this out earlier today, I can safely say that my Fixer was able to hack a cell door from melee range without issue at squadie rank. Granted, I do have a load of mods installed, but I doubt it would affect the Fixer class hacking capabilities...
Zyrrashijn  [author] 24 Aug, 2017 @ 10:24pm
@Arkhangel, i believe what Medium described in July is actually an issue. I've had a similar incident where my Fixer without the remote hacking feat was unable to hack a cell door, while the shinobi could.
Arkhangel 24 Aug, 2017 @ 3:42pm
@Medium: Fixers can always hack, actually. it's just the ranged hack you have to buy. the problem you had with hacking ain't the class mod.

also, in fairness, if you want squaddie remote hacking, use a specialist. the Fixer is not one, and not meant to replace one. deal with it.
mediumvillain 10 Jul, 2017 @ 3:29pm
i like the idea of this class & its given me an excuse to make more cyborg-like characters, but there are some skill issues, particularly w/ "hack" the gremlin remote hacking ability being made into a 5th rank class skill. this means Fixers cant even hack an objective they're standing right next to, which is a generic ability every character class has, unless they've taken this ability (the game will let you try since all classes can technically 'hack,' but after you do it nothing will happen). LOS hacking is really supposed to be a basic squaddie ability for classes w/ gremlins. its strange that they can use powerful offensive gremlin powers but not the most basic ability of a gremlin, & that you have to give up another skill in order to use it at all.
Zyrrashijn  [author] 4 Jul, 2017 @ 4:41am
Arkhangel, thanks for the smile :)
Arkhangel 3 Jul, 2017 @ 7:02pm
I vote for the new one being called "Mixers" ;)
VertigoJockey 3 Jul, 2017 @ 9:49am
@Alterd: So if I understand this correctly, we may be getting a Cyborg Ninja. Hell yes. Metal Gear is clearly Rising for Revengeance.
Alterd-Rushnano  [author] 3 Jul, 2017 @ 7:33am
+ @ I am testing a 'holographic method' that can solve FIXER's low aiming.
Alterd-Rushnano  [author] 3 Jul, 2017 @ 7:26am
VertigoJockey// Good point. In fact, I am thinking of a new FIXER class that uses Primary Melee Weapons.A new class that can do widespread melee attacks like Faceless.
Zyrrashijn  [author] 27 Jun, 2017 @ 11:43am
What do you mean?
VertigoJockey 27 Jun, 2017 @ 10:26am
Is it possible for us to get Frontline Cyborgs at some point in the future?
Arkhangel 18 Jun, 2017 @ 7:58am
@Arth: Fixer works just fine in LW2, given i have a Post Human gal who's literally killed twice as many aliens as the next runner up, and happens to be a massacre machine (137 kills to date, she generally tends to wipe out two pods on her own each time i deploy her).
InterventoR 8 Jun, 2017 @ 7:38am
Update and correction: My bad. Haywire protocol isn't meaning Hack skill itself.
InterventoR 5 Jun, 2017 @ 2:00am
i just wanted to say that i like your class and concept. I made him untrainable just to feel "uniqueness" more. (Now i only can find him via random levelups and/or black market.) I would like to report a bug. I couldn't hack any jail door neither remote nor contact, even after i obtained remote hack perk. Gotcha Again didn't show "hackable" icon from distance and once i've contacted with the door, icon just getting perpetual grey-out. Maybe bad mod interaction issue but would you take a look? Thanks.
Zyrrashijn  [author] 18 May, 2017 @ 3:34am
this class works fine with LW2
☠Мрачный Типϟ 18 May, 2017 @ 3:27am
plzz update for lw2!!!:Rivals:
_ALuX_ 2 May, 2017 @ 1:04pm
We need more cyborg mods. Enough said.
Arkhangel 25 Apr, 2017 @ 10:13pm
@Cloud: cool thing about Fixers is you really make 'em how you think XCOM Cyborg Badasses would look. I recommed Stenchfury's Modular Armor and Helmets mods to start off (the new Spectre chestpiece is particularly awesome) and Titanfall gear is also great for Male fixers because it adds robotic arms and legs as well, as Zyrra has shown above.

Halo Reach Armors is good for Kat's Robotic arm for Female Fixers as well though all the Stenchfury armor could easily work as cybernetic themselves.

so... yeah... really up to how you imagine they'd look.
Zyrrashijn  [author] 23 Apr, 2017 @ 10:25pm
I used parts from several Squadmate mods. Such as Kerrigan, Nova, EDI, and Sparts several mods.
RemTM 23 Apr, 2017 @ 4:46pm
@Cloud: You will have to apply some custom cosmetics of your own. There are some links in the previous comments here pointing to some good ones you can use.
Crimson Doctor 22 Apr, 2017 @ 3:34pm
how did you get them to look like that? my fixers look pretty human
n0guns 1 Apr, 2017 @ 5:09am
@Zyrrashijn I started a new game before I saw you comment =( but what I do remember was getting CapacitorDischarge, Covert, and Conceal (Lieutenant was the rank the soldier was at)
Zyrrashijn  [author] 29 Mar, 2017 @ 9:07pm
This was something we addressed in the past. I didn't see that since. Please tell us, which combination of perks you use on the soldier you are encountering the issue with.
n0guns 29 Mar, 2017 @ 5:04pm
@Dragonlord im getting the same thing as well even though it says take 2 dmg I take 4 (using LW2)
Dragonlord 29 Mar, 2017 @ 4:51pm
Okay this is weird but in ALOT of the missions i will suffer 4 points for the skinwalker for some reason?
handsomegrape 28 Mar, 2017 @ 6:00am
Ah, ok. Cheers.
Zyrrashijn  [author] 28 Mar, 2017 @ 5:35am
Nothing like that. The Fixer is a class as any other. Just don't get too cocky while employing these soldiers.
handsomegrape 28 Mar, 2017 @ 5:31am
Uh, wth does this mean?

"But please be careful. Remember how Supremacy(Cyborg affinity) was implemented in Civ: be, another work of firaxis.
In fact Supremacy are not even superior - if you do not meet the conditions in advance. (In that case they will be pushed by harmful harmony and purity, who other affinity of the that game) A similar logic applies to Fixers- If you do not operate carefully, will see these cyborg soldiers only at the ADVENT's recycling centers."

Are you saying you only have one chance of acquiring them or what?
Zyrrashijn  [author] 25 Mar, 2017 @ 12:11pm
As of now, the fixer gains 2 points of additional sight range per rank, summing up in roughly 10 tiles more sight at MSGT.
RemTM 25 Mar, 2017 @ 5:43am
well, the fixer does seem to have a slightly longer LoS than others, so if you find that sweet spot, you can still scout without activating, but it is a fine balance.
Cal Vin 25 Mar, 2017 @ 2:29am
I love the fixer and I'm looking forward to tweaks and seeing how others make use of it. I have consistently experience the same pod activation whether re-entering concealment using skinchanger or concealment ability. It doesn't appear to be from anything other than entering line of sight as if the fixer wasn't concealed at all...if I move into their sightline or if they move into normal sight of me. It can be worked with but without squadsight, any concealment advantages are burnt rather quickly for being a sniper and it makes scouting or positioning strategies a little more unpredictable.
Mao-Dsph 12 Mar, 2017 @ 12:03pm
Great mod!
I totally love this class.
