At least on the first mission, this mod was making me crash to desktop on completion.

SeqAct_ActivateRemoteEvent_1 failed to find target event: FinishedTransitionToShell

was part of the log file, idk if it will help, but might help others trying to troubleshoot

mod still broken?
Anubis 26 Dec, 2020 @ 12:03pm
This MOD has an issue that makes your troops act like they are injured even though they have not been touched. They NEVER come out of this phase. The MOD is broken.

How can I prevent that sergeants and the following ranks gain XP in the barracks?
Btw idk why but I can't see the edit panel using mod config menu.
Shaggoth (Ищезаяц) 28 Mar, 2018 @ 4:33am
does it works with jedi mod? i see here something about properly gaining xp, so it's absolutelly the same way as if they were in a mission?
thanks

Mod does work with LW2, but it seems to be the cause of occasional blank status in the soldier list and solders appear injured (head hanging down). I disabled the mod and deleted the affected solders and have not had this problem anymore since.

The patch that presumably came alongside WotC possibly broke it.
If that's the case, there's little I can do for the moment as I don't have the game installed.

I'm not sure if it's this mod, the settings for this mod, an update, or another source, but virtually none of my soldiers are promoting now! Settings are on default, and before this was changed with the WotC version, I consistently promoted solidiers after missions, now after playing 3-4 missions, only my squaddies are promoting...wtf. Going to try the Blue Raja version now.
Hellakyn 31 Aug, 2017 @ 4:50am
WotC version?
Blooest  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 10:57am
This requires LW2. If/when that updates, this should hopefully be compatible.

Hey there! This is a pretty awesome mod that I really enjoy using. Is there any chance that it will be competible with the new DLC?
BMarsh2.0 22 Aug, 2017 @ 5:16am
@Hello, If you haven't already tried it, try hitting the Caps Lock key on the loading screen when you're in the sky ranger returning from a mision. Before I found out about it, it was taking 3-4 min on that screen. Hitting the Caps Lock key I can get through it in under a minute (I've timed it). I'm playing on a machine that is under the minimum requirements by just a hair so if you're on a good comp it might even be faster.

What is the difference between Blue Raja's version and this one?
루시퍼 28 Jun, 2017 @ 10:01pm
If i use this mod late game with bunch of soldiers then my load game goes about 3-6minutes?
i have 75soldiers right now and when infiltrating load time is fast but returning to avenger load time is so long. what do you think about this?
Blooest  [author] 26 Jun, 2017 @ 5:49pm
This mod doesn't/shouldn't give extra experience to the soldiers on a given mission.
As designed, it will, however, only allocate approximately half of the experience gain to everybody else.
But you can tweak that with MCM. I don't have any hard numbers for you off-hand, so experimentation will be your friend there.

ASIDE: Experience gain varies soldier-to-soldier based on their performance in the tactical layer. As the mod stands, I don't see any of that. I just pick up the experience that gets allocated at the end of the mission. Getting them to stay totally in line across a long playthrough with zero combat is probably not a realistic goal.

@ISky, would it be difficult to add another option to only distribute the xp to squad-mates who were not on the mission?

I always like playing with a strict squad division for fun and story, but my sideboard squadmates (gunners and grenadiers) often don't get fielded while others get fielded on every mission so the squad starts diverging in xp.

Because you need to charge the default.. This mod gives xp to rookies, which levels everyone up. And if you use tab with cc it'll auto level the person up
_shapeshifting 16 Jun, 2017 @ 8:52am
I had a problem with my soldiers leveling up without a dialogue warning and choosing their own classes, even though I run Commander's Choice.

Any ideas on that? Might not be your mod but I thought it was a good place to start.

lw2 works fine with the mod, I have 450 mods with no problems
sraray 15 Jun, 2017 @ 2:14pm
I rated up your mod and added it to my favorites...hopefully you can figure out or someone else can figure out why LW2 does not like your mod. I have too many troops that need to level :steamsad:
sraray 15 Jun, 2017 @ 2:13pm
I have gone through all my mods now and can not figure out what other mod is messing with your mod. Your mod is great, but for some reason, when any of my soldiers gain a level outside of killing an alien, my soldiers are injured and all their equiped items are removed and stats are messed up....not sure what is going on. I hope things work out for you soon and your mod is a good mod otherwise.
Blooest  [author] 12 Jun, 2017 @ 11:20pm
As far as I know, the code in this mod shouldn't be capable of that.
If it is, it's most likely in the form of ranked up soldiers not healing to their new maximums, in which case it's a bug in a different mod you're running, because I don't touch that.
I assign exp and call the regular rankup code. I don't do anything outside of the mission results screen.

I don't have my development environment anymore, so I can't be of much help at the moment.
sraray 12 Jun, 2017 @ 7:39am
This mod causes damage to my soldiers which messes up loadouts. :steamfacepalm:
sraray 12 Jun, 2017 @ 6:43am
Anyone else having an issue where your troops are missing some minor health? I think it is this mod that is doing it...messing up my infiltration teams.
TamTroll 1 Jun, 2017 @ 3:43pm
Ahh, thanks Jack.
TamTroll 26 May, 2017 @ 7:31am
kinda considering this mod since i keep loosing squaddies when i bring them out on their first / secocnd mission. Is this mod okay for very vanilla games? The only other mod i have is a voicepack and that's about it.
MangyMinotaur 26 Apr, 2017 @ 6:46pm
The bloted kills was a turn off with the "all soldiers gain xp" so this is exactly what I was looking for, cheers dude!
Blooest  [author] 11 Apr, 2017 @ 10:10am
I didn't add any code to check for that specifically, so I'd suspect they are.
I -think- they're included in the busy status that the injured/training toggle checks against, but I didn't test it.
Fleshing that all out is on my todo list, but I'm on an indefinite XCOM hiatus right now.
Boisegangpc 11 Apr, 2017 @ 8:23am
Does an infiltraiting squad count as in the barracks or not?
R2_Opus2 22 Feb, 2017 @ 2:27am
One of the things I find the original good for is that it seems to work nicely with the FNG mod - the mod that lets you train rookies up to a certain rank depeding on the level of FNG you bought in the GTS which is based on kills. Granted it is a way to game the system a bit mid-late game, but I am glad for this new version. More options for the player to talor their runs is a good thing.
Blooest  [author] 17 Feb, 2017 @ 11:43am
You can change, you'll just have to use the Remove Missing Mods mod to kill the warning about the old one being missing, since I changed the ID.
Granted, it can't strip the kills the other one has already awarded, but it would stop adding more...
ferret 17 Feb, 2017 @ 7:51am
I guess if you started a game with the original version, it's a bit late to change...and they would be OTT together (if they even work together).
Nice to see a specific LW2 version though.
Mr. driver 15 Feb, 2017 @ 7:28pm
If i have lw2 pack already, should i need this mod?
Blooest  [author] 15 Feb, 2017 @ 11:50am
Yes, the original is LW2 compatible.
This is built WITH LW2 for a better experience.
(Try reading the description.)
fity0208 15 Feb, 2017 @ 11:30am
tbh im using the original with long war and works perfectly :/
Kern K. RooL 14 Feb, 2017 @ 6:53am
thanks a lot for this, all soldiers gain xp was one of my favourite mods and its great to see it update for lw2.
Arkhangel 13 Feb, 2017 @ 11:54pm
also honestly makes sense, your vets would take the time to teach your lower guys. adapting to changing tactics and all that.
