I always assumed I had PTSD from a lifetime of war but in retrospect I believe it is from 4 years ago trying to use subconstructs in complex innovative ways, never again.

you could use subconstructs with overlapping hitboxes to place many guns in one turret, a bit cheaty, but effective nonetheless

I made a space shuttle replica with an open bay, workshop version has missiles, but mine has a X2 spin X2 piston arm that unfolds with a massive laser on, looks awesome,but at full power its probably only usefull for microwaving your lunch, there must be a way to do this

i build a couple of 3 by 3 by 3 gatling and railgun turrets,
the railguns fire like once in a minute and the range on the gatling is not much better, than on the simple auto cannon

I tried that with MCRN hammurabi, best I got was a roughly 3/4 strength gun for the size,and as soon as the armour is pierced the whole gun falls off, too dificult for me dude

now you can even make the guns retract, when they are not active

feel free toupgrade it, theres been some big updates since this was made, suprisingly it still works well

try to use full frag shells with the cone set to 1 degree

i actually tried to replicathe the roccinante before, but i used the vulcan gatling gun from the after cataclism mod they are the sice of the roccis gatlings and hurt like hell.

I only ever do vanilla dunno why

why dont use a mod?

@maxvincentarifien the roccy carries 6 gatling guns apperntly, and in season 3 or 4 not made yet she gets a single heavy rail cannon underslung for when the torps run out, howver, If I used non railguns I am left with 2 choices: cannons with barrels the length of the ship itself or the build is a useless campaign machine as it cannot hit barn door from the inside, or All shell components accuracy compenets which means when I do shoot things they probably dont notice, this is the problem all replicas seems to face, their are a few other soloutions I use rails and dial 60% plus rail power to accuracy, then try make rail guns look like non rail guns (;
