Any chance you could make Ramesses's capital a user setting? For those of us playing TSL, it makes a difference. Additionally, you could give Thebes its Egyptian name: Waset.

It is compatible with Leugi’s mod. It should also be compatible with infixo’s but I’m not certain.

Is this compatible with other mods that change/edit/rewrite names/text/entries?
Eg. Leugi's Appeal/Prestige mod that adds a font icon and change Loyalty to Prestige
or Infixo's Better Civilopedia mod that, well, makes the Civilopedia a lot better?

Can u make The Notorious B.I.G. a civ for New York?! I feel like he'd make culture and maybe a replacement of the atomic eras ranged unit... Call it a gangster ohh and on that thought make a Mafia Boss! Like Al Capone and a special commercial district The "Speakeasy". Just thinkin outloud.

Quick suggestion! Because the Persians are a very general name to thousands of years of nations and peoples roughly attributed to living under Zoroastrianism and speaking "Persian", the First Persian Empire (being the Ancient one that Cyrus and Darius ruled over, before their destruction by Alexander The Great) is known specifically as the Archaemenid Empire, or the Archaemenids. In Ancient Persian, in fact, it was known as Xšāça. It would be very cool as a huge fan of these times in history to see something like this implemented :)

Rapa Nui should have its name changed to Hanga Roa, as all city-states are named after cities. Rapa Nui is the name of the island.

Hey, I started a game with this enabled and I haven’t been able to access the great works tab. I found it unlikely that this particular mod could be the offending party, but it’s the only one enabled and I’ve never had this issue before. Was just wondering if you’d ran into this issue before.

Zaibatsu (財閥) is perfectly fine, it discribes the whole group. Keiretsu (系列) just means that comany is like a subsidiary to another company or group, you will never use it on the main company.

Hey Suk, just wanted to let you know that one of the smaller changes in this mod actually makes things less accurate... the Zaibatsu were dissolved shortly after WW2 and before Japan became famous for electronics companies, so it's not really the best name for a culture-producing factory. The correct name for the conglomerates that made (and still make) Japanese electronics in the postwar period is 'Keiretsu'.

Do with that what you will, or nothing at all if you so desire, and sorry for being pedantic!

That's a known bug with the DLC text loading with mods. Disable this and it'll work fine.

With this mod enabled, the descriptions for the unique buildings and units of Australia, Persia, and Macedon are in Portuguese.

Thank you! I very much doubt this has the potential to cause desyncs but literally nothing else changed between the two games I had with my friend so that leaves me completely baffled. It's tough to test it out, too, since they start after turn 60 (but occur every single turn after) - you can only take so many restarts before you opt to do something else with yout life :(

Hello! Could I ask what was in today's update? My friend and I are playing with a few mods and all of a sudden we started desyncing today after playing a full 300+ turn game without problems just a couple days ago, I'm trying to narrow down the possible reasons.

The Portuguese language bug/issue has to do with the load order of each mod in relation to DLC, check out the YnAMP mod discussion on civfanatics.com for info on how to manually set your load order. Gedemon has made load order a default part of YnAMP @sukritact, this should fix it.

For those asking about Portuguese text with Poland: I have not (yet) installed this mod, but I'm getting this bug also. Probably from one of the other popular mods. Or maybe mods in general.

I thought it was only this mod causing some text to be Portuguese, but after disabling it and playing again, Poland's text still showed up Portuguese. Is it an issue with mods?

@Sukritact. Thank for creating this mod. You've made some good changes. As part of this mod, would you be able to make changes to Saladin's name? The name should actually be spelt 'Salah ad-Din'. This better reflects the Arabic pronuniciation, and doesn't seem as anglicized. Cheers.

Unfortunately, neither me nor my fellow modders can seem to replicate the issue [imgur.com]. I'm gonna have to ask those encountering issues to submit their logs ("Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Logs" the pertinent files will be the Localisation, Modding and Database logs) to the thread on CivFanatics [forums.civfanatics.com].

Chiming in for more support that this mod does change Australia's text to portugese. I have other mods enabled as well, but it's only when I enable this one that it causes the problem. All the other civilization descriptions looked fine.

@Sukritact I am not using any other mods when this issue is occurring. It is at the civilization select screen, in the civilopedia, and on tooltips related to Australia's special ability.

Just tested. This occurs when only DLC + this mod are enabled. Does not occur when this mod is disabled.

I'm having the aforementioned issue with Portuguese. I have all DLC. When I mouse over Australia in civ selection, the description is in Portuguese. When I mouse over Poland, it is in English. When I try to play as Poland, the text below "JADWIGA" is in Portuguese, but none of the rest of the text on the loading screen is in English. It also appears as though the starting city name is altered when I get into the game (Cracóvia). In the Civilopedia for Poland, only the text that describes Poland's size is in Portuguese. Also in the Civilopedia, for Australia, all of the descriptions unique to Australia that would show up in civ selection are in Portuguese. Everything else is in English. When I look at Jadwiga in the Civilopedia, all text under the Summary, Detailed Approach, and Historical Context headings are in Portuguese. When I look at John Curtin, only his Unique Ability is in Portuguese.
