This mod ain't working with GS atm!...: Just finished a (new) campaign, and other countries with diff gov-types, kept renouncing me for just that-wtf?!... :-S

If you download this mod and go to the mod location, you can alter the numbers and change them to whatever you like. I'm probably never going to update this mod so you won't have to worry about it being overwritten.

I'm not sure, to be honest. It should, near as I could tell. The code referencing the government intolerance hasn't changed.

Nice, thank you! The DIY file edit was a success. And for anyone else wondering, the mod's folder name is 873700354. I wound up re-subscribing and checking the "date last modified" category just to find it quick and easy.

Great name, first off. Secondly, you can alter the values yourself to fit your needs. All you need to do is go to where the mod is saved and open up the SQL file and change all the 0 (or -0.1, I don't remember which it was) to the value you want. -1 or -2 should be enough to bring back their dislike of your governing style without making it too over the top.

You'll need to find your Steam game installation location and then go to steamapps>workshop>content>289070

Then you'll need to find the mod. The folder name is some string of numbers that I don't know what it is. Find it and go to the SQL file and open it. Notepad++ works best but regular Notepad will also open it, the text just won't be as easy to read.

Can there be a reduced version? I prefer the idea of not being punished for simply having a different government than other civs, but I think it'd make sense for it to at least have some sway on a leader's opinion on you.

Still a cool mod anyway. Those late game ideological blocs may be something they add down the road. I'm happy to just get rid of the nonsensical merchant republics hating monarchies which in turn hate the other two stuff. Just doesn't add up.

@bigbear5199 @Smeagol Sorry to say that adding conditions for government tolerance doesn't seem to work. Might be something I can look into when they release DLL access.

Im with Smeagol. I don't like this affecting the early governments but once you move into the final tier ideologies it's a nice addition that can spice up long term diplomatic ties. It was a great addition to V and I'm a little bummed VI seemed to flub this.

That would be awesome. I dont want it removed completly from my game, but when all the aI hate you because you got a better gov then them its kind of infuriating. Thanks

Any chance you can build a mod that removes it when you have a higher level gov then the ai, or for only the final tier of gov?
