The mod works just fine but if you use it with Deity++'s alternate starting units, your civ starts with more units than the AI.

Works well with Deity++ and Nixon’s Head mods. 7 Headless Agnews on turn 1 is a little OP. 😉

Works great, though Deity becomes a bit too easy when you start with three settlers and a bunch of warriors just like the AI. I wish that could be tuned

I don't know if this comment is still relevant or not but the Mod works with Gathering Storm and the free New Frontier Pass update ( I dont have the extra civs to check)

As people before me said:
1. You will get the extra units after founding the first city.
2. The Mod works with other mods . I have Simple UI mod and Longer Eras mod, Compact Production Queue mod and its works just fine.

@Bodie - there is a note somewhere below about the line to put into the code (and the path to the file) that will make this item available at start. However, I used to get a starting settler with this mod but now I do not.

@DemonStyle. The mod part takes effect, creating a city to add a builder, not a settler

Any status for update w Gathering Storm? If I ignore and enable it, it works but volcanos dont work. I avnt played enough with it on to see what else doesnt work.

i did the thing kirikomi posted, and while the mod was then able to be enabled it didnt actually provide any of the additional starting units unfortunately

for me, just adding "<CompatibleVersions>2.0</CompatibleVersions>" in the .modinfo file "Properties" section fixes it post-GatheringStorm. My workshop-downloaded copy of this mod was at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\289070\875442131" where I updated the modinfo file myself after subscribing.

No, what happens now is that it starts with one settler but then they get a new settler upon founding city, up to 3 on deity.

"Yet Another Maps Pack" conflicts with this.

I like both mods actually. Is there a way to make this work? Because I want to play on larger maps with starting units similar to what the AI has.

Even without other mods, it doesn't work for me (i disabled all DLC, scenarii and mods except your one)
